It was cold and rainy, bring layers in November. Couldn't see the mountains due to the weather, but that's ok.

The driver Macca was a very informative and accommodating man. He took his time to explain everything and went out of his way to make us comfortable on the trip.

I took my 2 year old for this tour, it rained in patches through the day and there was fog but it was stunningly beautiful.. our guide Steve and accompanied by Rob once we got to the national park where wonderful, great knowledge and commentary, very helpful to myself as a single Mum with a little one.. would recommend anyone could take part of this day trip its a long drive but it's worth it. Thank you for a wonderful day.

We had a lovely day with a fabulous guide! The only reason it was 4 stars instead of 5 was because we didn’t go to the cheese factory and we were looking forward to that part of the day.

A really great day, first time to see sun in 3 weeks. Extraordinary. Our tour guide Garry was brilliant very knowledgeable. The stop at sheffield was a perfect time seeing the murals and a lovely coffee. A toilet stop at the visitors centre and then onto Cradle Mountain. It was just the right balance of time to see both sides, the boat shed and the boulder lookout. We then had a light lunch and walked to the first cabin built. After this we headed back stopping to walk to a beautiful waterfall. We then headed back stopping at the ashgrove cheese factory. Just enough time for a lovely icecream or coffee. The entire day went like clockwork and Garry was absolutely brilliant. It also helped that everyone was punctual making a lovely day perfect.

This was my 6th & last tour of my 10 day Tassie vacation, and I can honestly say that a tour is only as good as the tour guide running it. And Dale at Grayline tour's Launceston was an absolute superstar 🤩. He was joyful, funny yet professional, and kept us immersed with his incredible commentary with every place we stopped. Although the weather wasn't in our favour on the day, it made no difference because Dale's wonderful commentary kept us entertained the whole way. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the fascinating historical story of Gustav & Kate Weindorfer. Once we arrived at the majestic Cradle Mountain, we had ample time to look around before meeting up again to visit the Waldheim Chalet & Forest, where Dale took us on a walk through with his brilliant commentary once again. The tour also included stops to see the Sheffield Muriel's, Ashgrove Cheese farm and a delicious lunch in the heart of the picturesque Cradle Mountain. Thank you Grayline tours & Dale for an incredible tour experience. 👌

A good tour to book if you are short on time to see cradle mountain and want to see the best bits with a guide. Our guide Steve was friendly, down to earth and took great care of us

We hiked the overlander track from Cradle mountain to Lake St Claire at the end of January, self hike staying in Parks Tasmania huts at each camp sight. We dehydrated all our food and carried one tent between us, just incase we didn't get a bed. Very lucky with the weather no rain. Our packs were approximately 10kg and ended approximately 7kg, very comfortable. We transferred from Launceston, got our induction and started first thing the following day and doubled up the first two trail heads and slept 4 night's out and caught the ferry from Narssisis to Lake St Claire information centre. It was magical and highly recommend to do it yourself, without the expensive tour groups. Though I was very disappointed with some people treating the hut's like a backpacker's and leaving food there, that the rangers would have to discard. Please take in only what you think you'll eat, as you have to carry everything in and out of the beautiful national park.
