Awesome experience with Sam. He was very knowledgeable and showed us the beauty of Tasmania! We stopped by for some yummy breakfast and lovely coffee and had a nice dinner to cap off the day. I had the best mulled spiced apple cider! I also appreciate the toilet breaks :D it was timed well! Bonus was the aurora australis that we captured on our way back to Hobart. Highly recommend! 100/10 experience

Going on the Cradle Mountain Active Day Trip with Sam was an unforgettable experience. Sam's humor, enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Tasmania's landscapes and history made the long journey from Hobart to Cradle Mountain both enjoyable and informative. His well-planned itinerary included comfortable rest stops and ample time to explore the stunning Dove Lake, allowing us to appreciate the natural beauty at our own pace. The tour van was comfortable, equipped with USB charging ports, and Sam's friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere. This day trip stands out as a highlight of my time in Tasmania, offering a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

This trip was the highlight of my stay in Tasmania. Sam made the trip enjoyable with safety, friendliness and knowledge. It's the only tour to Cradle Mountain that goes from Hobart and if you don't feel like the drive then this is a must! Especially as this is a small tour. The journey was made to feel less long by regular breaks along the way. Stopping at the picturesque town of Ross for a bathroom break, time to stretch the legs and grab a coffee. The next stop was Deloraine for breakfast, then another stop at Sheffield for some time to snap some pics of Mount Roland before heading to Cradle Mountain. On the way back to Hobart we stopped again at Sheffield before heading to Deloraine for dinner. The bus was extremely comfortable with phone charging points, recliner seats. Overall, great weather throughout the journey. Sam took us on the smaller circuit - Enchanted Garden near Peppers then we as a group did the Dove Lake circuit which was just breathtaking. We then did the Ronnie walk to spot some wombats. We then headed to Peppers Lodge for a refreshment and warm up next to he fire. I definitely recommend Sam and this tour for those who wish to visit Cradle Mountain, without having to travel to Launceston.

Sam was an awesome driver and guide, giving us information about the landscape and letting us choose for ourselves what we want to do. We got to Cradle Mountain about 12pm and had ample time to explore. Sam also took us on stops to get food, take scenic pictures, and stargaze. It was worth it for us who didnt feel like driving ourselves.

Amazing experience. It's the only tour to Cradle Mountain that goes from Hobart. Sam is a great and informative guide. The journey to and fro is definitely long, however regular breaks along the way makes it bearable. Breakfast time is included in the journey but we settled lunch ourselves. Dinner time is also included, where we had the most amazing meals at Cycles at the Empire Hotel. Definitely recommend. Overall, great weather throughout the journey. Made the hike up to Marions Lookout absolutely worth it even if i was wrought with aches in my legs for the coming days. Saw some cute wombats and wallabies too! I'd definitely recommend Sam and this tour for those who wish to visit Cradle Mountain, without having to travel to Launceston.
