This was a wonderful experience that we will remember forever. It is located in a warm, homely room with beautiful Turkish lamps and delicious Turkish delight. The lamps were easy to make and Denise was nice and benevolent. A great excursion for families! The price is reasonable for one lamp, although you have to make a reservation before going. It takes about two hours and she will wrap the lamps in bubble wrap if you are traveling. An amazing experience!

My sister and I had a wonderful time making our mosaic Turkish lantern. The instructor was organized, friendly, and very patient. The instructor shared fabulous cookies while we worked, hand-made by her mother!

This is such a hidden gem! In our time in cappadocia it was one of the best activities. It’s a wonderful craft in a cozy studio. They guide you through the process and it’s very relaxing. We also enjoyed the homemade treats.

As someone who loves a good craft project, this workshop was right up my alley and it did not disappoint. You walk into this cozy little studio in Göreme and within minutes you are picking out patterns, matching colors, and placing mosaic pieces onto your lamp. There are so many colors and patterns to choose from that your creativity can really shine, and the host guides you through every step so even if you have never done anything like this before, you will not feel lost at all. I will say it took me longer than I expected because I kept second guessing my color choices in the best way possible, but Deniz was so patient and genuinely did not mind letting me stay as long as I needed to finish. That kind of unhurried, welcoming energy made such a difference and is honestly rare with tourist experiences. It felt less like a scheduled activity and more like being a guest in someone’s creative space. She serves Turkish tea and traditional treats during the session and has the cutest little dog to keep company which added such a nice touch. The studio has such a warm atmosphere and my lamp came out feeling genuinely personal rather than something mass produced you could just grab at a market stall. She also sends you off with protective packaging so you do not spend the rest of your trip stressing about getting it home in one piece. It is now one of my favorite souvenirs from the entire trip because I actually made it myself. Only thing to note for foreigners is that the plug will need an adapter to fit in your outlet back home!

We came across this very original and unique experience, today we attended a workshop with Denise the owner of the place, to create a typical Turkish lamp made by us with a thousand colored slides. We were really satisfied with his welcome and professionalism, great kindness and skill. Very patient has dedicated all the time necessary to be able to get our work done. Thank you so much

We had such a lovely experience making a mosaic lamp with Denise. Denise offers a range of timeslots, which made it easy to fit into our plans, and the workshop itself felt relaxed and unhurried. With fewer people, she was able to give individual guidance and attention, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Plus the treats her Mum cooks, bottomless tea, and a great playlist to suit our tastes created a brilliant atmosphere. Though she may not have many reviews on TripAdvisor yet, she has a strong reputation as per her 5-star rating on Google. A really enjoyable, creative experience and one I’d happily recommend.

My friend and I really enjoyed our lamp making experience with Denise. Denise explained the process very well and was on hand to help if needed. There was tea, coffee and treats available as well made by Denise’ mother. The workshop was therapeutic and we loved our finished lamps. Would definitely recommend this workshop while visiting Cappadocia.

Our balloon tour was canceled, so we joined this workshop — and we’re so glad we did. Everything was very well organized. Denise was attentive and helped us at every step. The atmosphere was peaceful with music in the background. Unlimited drinks and homemade treats were included. We spent around 2 very enjoyable hours and our lamp was safely packed at the end. If you’re looking for something unique and meaningful in Cappadocia, don’t miss this experience.
