What To Expect

Visitors will get to know our family, will be guided to our small farmhouse, we will cook together, they will learn useful information about olive oil and the Cretan diet and at the end we will have dinner with the dishes prepared earlier!

The perfect cooking lesson in beautiful farm near Kissamos. Enjoyable lesson by Eleni and her mother Chrisoula, you learn to cook Cretan traditional food and finally eat a delicious dinner - which you made yourself. Good combination about cookung and cretan lifestyle. This is not a "once in lifetime"-thing. You need to go there again!

This was such a fun experience with my mom and adult children. Eleni and Chrisoula were so welcoming and made everyone feel like family. Great food!!! It was wonderful to learn about the Cretan culture and food preparation. Thanks so much!!

This was such a wonderful experience! Eleni and her mother (and Daughter in law) are wonderful, welcoming people! We cooked wonderful cretan food and most all ingredients came from their family farm! Well worth your time! So much fun and great food as well!!

We highly recommend this cooking experience! Eleni and her mother were very gracious hosts prepared with everything ready to go upon arrival. We made a variety of dishes most of the ingredients coming from her farm. Very sustainable practices. We also got a tour of the farm and had an olive oil tasting. Once the food was cooked, we all ate together enjoying every morsel. Great experience! See attached photos.

Wonderfful setting, the most lovely lady koula , genuine cookery. Skillful exxplanations and demonstrations. Vegetarians and Gluten free catered for with recipe adaptations that tasted great. I totally recommend.

This was one of the best travel experiences I have had. From the moment we arrived at their home, Mrs Chrisoula (aka Mom) and Eleni were incredibly hospitable and gracious. The recipes they taught us to make are simple and delicious. The tour of the farm was an excellent education and the explanation of the processes for making their olive oil and wine was interesting. I highly recommend this experience.

This experience was fantastic. The host has a beautiful property in a great part of Crete. Everything is fresh from the farm and luscious. It was a wonderful evening with an incredible meal and people. I could not have asked for anything better. I plan to do this your again someday with the rest if my family. I highly recommend it.

We booked two experiences, a trip to Elafonisi and a cooking lesson. Both were really well organized, Eleni went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
