What To Expect
Only here for the day? Not to worry, dive trips are available to our cruise ship guests. This tour includes pickup and drop off directly from the cruise port, transport to beautiful West Bay beach and two boat dives with the best Dive Operator on West Bay with the newest equipment, newest boats and most experienced instructors. For over 10 years West Bay Divers has been offering premium, small group full concierge service from the number one location on the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest in the world! West Bay is a scenic drive from Roatan’s cruise ship terminal. If you just want to relax on the beach with a drink in your hand, West Bay is by far the best beach on Roatan, known for its white sand, clear water and bars right on the beach. For certified divers we have scheduled fun dives at 09:00 am (2-tank dive). There is usually plenty of time for two dives during your stay on Roatan. Dives are guided by one of our instructors and we have dive sites for all experience levels: walls, wrecks, drift dives and shallow sites as well. Most marine life is viewed between 30 and 60 ft.

5.00One of the best experiences I've had scuba diving with my favorite dive master in all my trips! I did the refresher couse and 3 dives with Takeshi and he was a great teacher, gave extra advice to get the most out of my dives, and was outstanding making safety as a priority. The team and West Bay divers felt like family in just a short time, a testament to the care they take to make everyone's experience memorable. 100% will be coming back and you should request Takeshi!

5.00It was an amazing dive trip. There were only 2 of us with the guide. Much better than the crowded excursion thru cruise. It was a short walk to pickup spot and they were there waiting for us. Nico was wonderful and helped my sister who has a little trouble equalizing. Hannah took some great pics! Murray's Place dive site was awesome.

5.00Outstanding two-dive excursion with West Bay Divers. Kian was my divemaster and was absolutely phenomenal, professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. Hannah, the photographer, was equally amazing and incredibly attentive throughout the dives. The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. I cannot wait to dive with them again.

5.00The service of this group was fantastic! They took care of every detail and we literally just had to show up and do the dive. They did all the leg work to carry tanks, prepare equipment, etc We simply had to suit up and dive. Takeshi was our dive guide and he was excellent! He took great care of our crew and showed us all of the wildlife along the way. I would gladly dive with him anytime, anywhere! Would gladly return to this dive shop again. Very professional!

5.00Celebrated 33 years of diving in Roatan last week. Our dive master~ Takeshi ~ was brilliant, and knew all the hottest dive spots !!! He spoiled us and took care of our gear so we didn't have to bring back and forth from our AirBnB each day. West Bay Divers ~ IS THE PLACE ~ to dive while on island here !!! Mary & Barney in the front office made scheduling our dives easy & efficient. One of the best things about West Bay Divers is the multiple dive discount.... the more we dove, the more discounts we got. Definitely coming back here in a couple of months !!!!!🐬✨️

5.00Had a great experience with my nephew through West Bay Divers. From the Carnival cruise ship they picked us up just outside the port area of Mahogany Bay and got us out diving for two dives and back by 2:00pm. Takeshi was a great dive guide and very accommodating for my newbie nephew. Saw amazing things and felt safe the whole time. The road down to the dive shop by the beach is not paved but thats about as sketch as it got. I booked a week in advance and they were willing to take out a newbie who has open water cert no problem.
