What To Expect

Only here for the day? Not to worry, dive trips are available to our cruise ship guests. This tour includes pickup and drop off directly from the cruise port, transport to beautiful West Bay beach and two boat dives with the best Dive Operator on West Bay with the newest equipment, newest boats and most experienced instructors. For over 10 years West Bay Divers has been offering premium, small group full concierge service from the number one location on the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest in the world! West Bay is a scenic drive from Roatan’s cruise ship terminal. If you just want to relax on the beach with a drink in your hand, West Bay is by far the best beach on Roatan, known for its white sand, clear water and bars right on the beach. For certified divers we have scheduled fun dives at 09:00 am (2-tank dive). There is usually plenty of time for two dives during your stay on Roatan. Dives are guided by one of our instructors and we have dive sites for all experience levels: walls, wrecks, drift dives and shallow sites as well. Most marine life is viewed between 30 and 60 ft.

West bay divers were there ready to pick is up at the port. The driver was so friendly and willing to stop and take photos. The dive shop was really easy to work with. They were so helpful with equipment. They were very accommodating. Karim and Makayla were so much fun. They did an amazing job helping us have the best dive trip while we were at port

One of the best dives I had in the Caribbean were 2 dives where we could dive through the huge roatan reefs, see a lot of life, swim between caves and steps. Really amazing, a dream. I'll arrange for you to do it more than a day. The master, Takeshi, always attentive and watchful of the group. It'll be back!

I write on behalf of Ruben (my father) In that week we were with Mario Navarro and Horacio Faga, doing during the week 24 dives of which one was nocturnal. We were accompanied by Tateski, he was a spectacular instructor who made us feel very safe during all dives, it is worth highlighting the attention of all the dive agency staff who were excellent. Also very good quality of boats and equipment. I recommend this wonderful place and the friendly arrangement of all its people. We will definitely come back!

We had such a fantastic experience on our two tank dive today with West Bay Divers. Communication was always prompt leading up to our dive; the guide was waiting for us promptly at 8 AM at the cruise port and took us to the dive center. The boats were new and clean; the dive master was knowledgeable, and we felt safe the entire time.. tThe reef was stunning, and we were able to see thousands of fish, a seahorse, a turtle, a stingray, squid, urchins, and so much more! Thank you for a perfect dive today!

Great experience with Karim, saw some turtles, lobster and spotted eagle rays. It was my son’s first dive post certification, couldn’t have asked for a better dive.

My husband and I were on a family cruise and wanted to explore Roatan away from the crowds. This was a small group excursion, the dive operator was located within 15 minutes from the port, it is a well organized facility with knowledgeable staff. Our dive master was excellent at guiding our group through the sites: Bucho’s Bank shallow and Mandy’s Eel Garden. Both were less than 60’ which gave more than enough time to explore. While the reef shows some stress, there are beautiful sponges and it’s amazing to see just a glimpse of the mesoamerican barrier reef - and less than a 10 minute boat ride.
Great operation. Very professional and safe with amazing boats.

Very professional with nice people. Very fast and clean boats. Excellent rental gear. Sean, Arturo, Leslie all great guides. Excellent captains. The locations are fairly standard but nice. The private trip was good. Overall a great operation and super convenient and professional. Love the locker system and ease to dive.
