We booked a small group sharing tour that was supposed to have a maximum of 15 in the group. Instead we were combined with other groups on a large bus. We received an email a week ahead of our tour that our tour would leave at 8 am. We arrived on time, as did about 10 others. But we were forced to wait an hour for other groups to arrive to fill the bus. None of us who arrived on time and were expecting a small group or private tour were happy. We went to the first 3 stops on the itinerary and then stopped for lunch. The tour guide said we would return to the port right after lunch and when I complained that we had seen less than half of the stops on the itinerary I purchased he had no idea what was on the itinerary. I had a copy of it with me and he said there wasn't time to make the stops so we could drive by a couple places to take a photo. We certainly didn't get the tour we paid for. Beware of booking this tour.

The communication before the tour was excellent, the driver was kind and helpful. We did all the proposed itinerary and the driver had good information. I have two small recommendations, make sure that the car is equipped with phone charger, and the driver gets a little more information to share with travelers about the places visited.

The tour basically listed 12 sites to visit/see. We did 5 of the 12 ! It was not because time was short because of traffic etc. It was a Sunday and the traffic was very light. It was because the guide was intent from the start to cajole people to want to go up the KL viewing tower, at their own cost ($25), that was not part of the tour. In fact, being scared of heights, we would not have booked this tour. After persuading say half of the tour party to go up the KL Tower, he just left the remaining tour members to sit on the coach for over an hour. We therefore did not see/visit things like the National Monument or Independence Merdeka Square amongst other things. The tour guide himself was also not the best in ensuring that the tour party knew where he was, especially at the start. The Batu Caves deserve more visiting time allocated. Seeing the Palace was good, and lunch was very nice. However overall we do not believe we got the overall tour we booked and paid for because the tour guide wanted to change the itinerary.

We enjoyed this tour in a minibus which held 15 passengers. The guide picked us up on time and was very aware that we were restricted with time as our cruise ship was only docked for a day. It was wonderful to see the local people and their way of life. We visited the pewter factory first and then went into the city to see the fabulous buildings. The Petronas Towers were awesome. The city is so modern. We finished with a lovely lunch before our journey back to the ship.

Ms. Trang was an excellent guide with perfect English and anxious to show us what we would like to see as well as the regular attractions. She picked us up on time and we travelled in an airconditioned minibus. The War Remnants Museum was our No. 1 place to visit. Heartbreaking to see the devastation of the war. We enjoyed the other regular tourists' spots i.e. Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, Reunification Hall and shopping in Ben Thanh Market. After our sightseeing we were treated to a beautiful Thai lunch before a one and a half hour drive back to the ship. This
