What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
My Tho
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

5.00Had an amazing experience visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta—made even better by our fantastic guide, Mattew! From the moment the tour started, Mattew was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing Vietnam’s history and culture. At the Cu Chi Tunnels, he explained everything in a really engaging way, making the history come alive rather than just feeling like a typical tour. You could tell he really cared about making sure everyone understood the significance of the site. The Mekong Delta portion was just as memorable—beautiful scenery, peaceful boat rides, and great local experiences. Mattew kept the energy up the whole day and made sure everyone was comfortable, entertained, and well taken care of. Overall, it was a perfect mix of education, fun, and relaxation. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you get Mattew as your guide!

5.00Started off with an easy pickup in a really nice air-conditioned limo bus. Our guide Matthew was super energetic and gave us a very thorough run through of the history of the cu chi tunnels and the meekong delta! Definitely try out shooting the AK-47 at the cu chi tunnels!

4.00A fun and very interesting excursion. Learning and experiencing the tunnels was very cool and eye-opening. Emily, our tour guide, was fantastic and explained everything very well. The acitivties along the Mekong Delta were also cool. Only thing I'd mention is the distance- you spend 5-6h in the car.

5.00We had a fantastic day seeing and understanding how the gorilla war against America in and around the tunnels. Matthew our tourguide was very informative with sharing information and his english was very good. The lunch was good quality and the traveling in such a luxury bus with max 7 people was a pleasure. The eco tourist and Delta were a experience including so much of the day to day life in Vietnam. Glad we pick this tour and that we had Matthew as our tourguide.
