Cu Chi Tunnels
We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
My Tho
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

It was a wonderful day trip to Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. What made the difference was the guide, Ms Tiny, who accompanied us. I have not come across such an affectionate, helpful, knowledgeable guide in our vast travel experience in Southeast Asia. She will, we are sure, make the tour company proud. We wish her all the best.

Great tour! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested to explore Cu chi tunnel and Mekang Delta. Bruno was fantastic. He has got a great sense of humor. He kept us engaged and entertained with his funny jokes. He looked after all of us in the group throughout the day.

The 12 hour tour was worth our day in Vietnam. We got picked up from our hotel and then explored the tunnels and ate a yummy lunch together. After that, we drove to the Mekong Delta and got to sample and try different things like honey, coconut candy and a snake wine. Really worth the time!

This tour was the highlight of our trip! It’s a full 11-12 hour day, but the time flies because the itinerary is so varied. The Cu Chi Tunnels were fascinating (mind-blowing history regarding the bunkers and the war), and the Mekong River Delta was a beautiful, calm change of pace with the rowing boats and bee/fruit farms. The real star, however, was our guide, Captain Bruno. He is engaging, hilarious, and very knowledgeable. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. If you get him as your guide, you’re in for a treat. Thank you, Bruno!

Bruno was a great tour guide who was hilarious and personable. While both attractions were popular with tourists, we felt lucky that we had Bruno specifically because he gave us insider knowledge as well as humor.

Packed day but definitely worth it. Very tasty lunch and efficient schedule. The cu-chi tunnels were interesting and the delta had some great nature spots. Affordable and worth it.

Xem was our tour guide for the day and he was great! He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We are a family of 5 with 3 children (9/12/15) and we all really enjoyed the tour and got alot out of the day as we experienced both the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Meekong Delta River. I would recommend this tour and Xem if you are short on time but want to see it all! Lunch is included you just have to pay for your drinks. We chose the small group tour (12 pax) and I think this was a good size group to travel with for the day. Overall the atmosphere was fun but we also learnt so much about the brutality of the Vietnam War.

We enjoyed the day, the tunnels were especially interesting and the lunch was great. We particularly want to recognize our tour guide, Ni. She was thoroughly prepared, made everything interesting, and was warm and patient.
