Cu Chi Tunnels
We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
My Tho
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

The tour was really well organized and easy to enjoy. Our guide Max was super kind and friendly, and he shared a lot of interesting information along the way. He made the whole trip even better. We had a great time and would definitely join another tour with Max again. Highly recommend!

We took a small group tour with Mathew and had the best time, we went to the cu chi tunnels and got to see the traps that were used during the war. We especially loved the mekong delta and our rides on the boats and being submerged into the culter, nature, and exotic fruits. So much fun

We had a lovely day out with Matthew, our guide. He is super funny and entertaining, but we were also well informed about all the places we've visited. Could highly recommend Matthew as your guide.

Great and easy experience from pickup through drop off. Our guide, Matthew, gave us a history lesson that was just the right amount to provide an overview of the history of Vietnam, the Vietnam/American War, and the transition of the country to today. The tunnels were a nice quick stop where you really saw the ingenuity of the Vietnamese through their warfare and trap tactics, and the Mekong Delta was a nice leisurely journey through active waterways and farms along with some great bites to eat.

I had an amazing day with Matthew and our group. Matthew has a lot of knowledge and shared many interesting background stories, so he definitely enhanced my experience! It was very interesting to learn about the tunnels and I loved the Mekong Delta tour - I even got to cuddle with a real python :)

Our guide, Max, was very experienced & guided the tour with adequate time spent at each location without a need to rush at all throughout the day. More importantly, he's very passionate when explaining the history behind the Vietnam War & because of this we remembered more info than we could ever get from History lessons in school or the Internet. He was also very encouraging in getting tour participants to experience as much as possible & it was certainly an eye-opening experience! Would recommend anyone to go on this tour especially first-timers to Ho Chi Minh City.

Kevin was very informative about the history of Vietnam. He's very passionate about his job in the way that he express the hardship which most vietnamese people went through and how Vietnam has progressed in the last 30 years. His explanations on key points were very thorough and if I had to recommend him to any of my friends back home, I would. Thank you!
