What To Expect

Cu Chi Tunnels

We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."

My Tho

After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

Tunnels were really interesting to see, emotional and great experience. We also went in tunnel, guys were sutting, we learn about them from our guide Tu. The meals on the tour were unexectedly good. Our guide Tu was very proffesional and simpatic guy, transfering to us historical fects, cultural remarks, Vietnamise way of life. Txs Tu !! Mekong river part of the tour is very commercial. The experience in boats is not as expected (compared to Thailand floating markets much less native) taking in acoount 2,5 hours bus drive to them. Probably, we would skip that part if knewing that before and stay longer in tunnels.

Our amazing tour guide Tu was so friendly and genuine. He gave us the most emotional experience from the war and told stories about his grandmothers experience. We even had our traditional meals tailored to our preferences. An overall amazing experience and would highly recommend.

A full day seeing both chi chi tunnels and Mekong Delta. Tu was an amazing guide, providing both history and personal stories to the sights. He was happy to answer questions and was very knowledgeable. As a family with 2 kids (one a teenager) it was a perfect way to experience some of the important places in ho chi Minh and surrounds.

Captain Bruno was an exceptional guide who truly made our experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, he made sure everything was perfectly organized so we could enjoy every moment to the fullest. He took us through incredible tunnels, rivers, and unique places that we would have never discovered on our own. Tu is a wonderful, friendly, and very helpful guide. He handled every issue quickly, carefully, and professionally. All the promises made in the tour description were fully delivered. Due to crowds and heavy traffic, we had to move a bit faster at times, but overall everything was very well organized and enjoyable. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this tour.
