The Cu Chi Tunnels tour was a great experience that truly brought history to life. Our tour guide explained everything in English, especially about the soldiers, tunnel structure, and deadly traps. The tunnel experience and shooting range were thrilling, while the Mekong Delta boat and sampan ride were calm and beautiful.

What I loved was the slow immersion into Mekong village life, sampan rides, watching locals go about their day, and sitting under shade while listening to live Don Ca Tai Tu, a type of traditional music. The gentle music, river sounds, and casual encounters with smiling residents created a warm, human portrait of the delta, a soothing, intimate escape from the city.

Golden light on the riverbanks and narrow canals made every frame irresistible, rustic houses, fruit trees and wooden boats created constant photo opportunities. The contrast with the dark, textured tunnels at Cu Chi gave the day visual drama, perfect for travelers who want both serene landscapes and powerful historical shots.
