- Mekong Delta is known as The Nine Dragon river delta since it is formed by nine rivers. The background of this area is the largest site of endless paddy rice fields, coconut farms, tropical fruit gardens. It is very easy for you to catch sight of children riding on the back of the water buffaloes and farmers working on the fields.

4.0Loved the Cu Chi Tunnel part of this tour. The 6hrs of driving (2 hrs to Tunnels- 2 hours to Mekong - 2hrs back to HCM) made it a very long day. Would probs suggest splitting this tour in two if you have the time to do so...or giving Mekong River a miss. Tour guide Thong was lovely and very informative.

5.0Good tour with informative friendly guide. Chuchi tunnels were better than I imagined. Mekong Delta was further than I expected but worth it if only for a short time The only negative is it felt like a sales pitch at every stop - as though you were expected to buy the products so remember to take plenty of cash Mekong delta rowing boats are included in price however you HAVE to give a tip and the feel quite forceful about this. We would have tipped anyway but having money waved in your face before getting off the boat as a reminder was a bit much
