What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

5.00So lucky to have Lockie as our guide! He’s so knowledgeable, funny, and super passionate at what he does. He also have his visual aids like printed photos and info videos about the history of Vietnam. He also quizzed us about it and gave prizes! At first he felt like a teacher trying to guide his class during the tour but in the end it felt like an uncle teaching us history. He also sang a few songs for us and even played an extra song for the whole bus to sing to! At the end of the tour, he even gave us a souvenir each! Did I mention he kept on giving us kopiko candies to pass around haha. This experience is an easy 100/10.

The Vietnamese bunkers and the whole post war area was amazing after it the lunch was great and also the Mekong river.

4.00The overall general tour has been fun thanks to our tour guide, Big Handsome David. The part I prefer the most was the cu chi tunnel, it was one of a kind experience, don’t miss the chance to go through the whole tunnel. We have also been trying the local liquer with snake and scorpios. For me the lunch time was way too early, and the speed we proceed in between stops could have been a bit more relaxed, it seems we were just rushing from place to place, I do understand it is made with the purpose to stick to the original schedule but I think it could have been nicer to have some extra time.

This is such an incredible tour, to be able to achieve so much in the day both Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta is already amazing, to be leveled up with a tour legend like Vinh; so intelligent, and wise - I feel like I learnt so much with his smart, friendly intelligence! This day was beyond worth the price, I would recommend to everyone and hope everyone is blessed with Vinh as their guide for the day - one we will never forget!!
