What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

5.00Our tour guide otherwise known as Big Handsome David absolutely MADE this trip. Honestly, he’s probably the best tour guide we’ve ever had. From the second we got on the bus at an unholy hour in the morning, he had everyone laughing. He was naturally hilarious, full of energy, and somehow kept the whole group entertained all day without it ever feeling forced. He got the perfect balance between being informative and being fun. He explained the history and culture really well, kept everything relevant and interesting, but also made the day feel relaxed and enjoyable. Brilliant for all ages. We also really appreciated how organised he was — he constantly updated us on the plans for the morning and afternoon, timings, what was coming next, etc., which made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. The Cu Chi Tunnels were fascinating and brilliantly explained, and the lunch provided was delicious, healthy, and generous. Another lovely touch was how considerate the tour was with allergies — if you have a nut allergy, just let David know and he’ll explain which sweets are safe to try at the coconut candy factory. The Mekong Delta was absolutely beautiful. The island trip was really cool, and the river boat ride was honestly surreal — so peaceful and scenic. But genuinely, the standout of the entire day was David. He brought such a fun atmosphere to the group and made the whole experience memorable. If you get “Big Handsome David” as your guide, you’ve hit the jackpot.

5.00Had a brilliant time. Big Dave the most handsome David of all really made the day, he was very informative and hilarious, thank you for all the giggles. The tour ran really smoothly and so much was covered, great value the lunch was also nice and the transport driving was very smooth. Tunnels are a must visit if you're here and the delta was really cool to see with a beautiful boat ride. Highly recommend

5.00Had a fantastic tour with Big Handsome David, my family and I loved his energy! The price was worth the 11-12 hours we spent together as a tour group (there were around 20 of us in the group). He gave lots of information in a way that made us interested to listen to him and he always made sure that we had fun and were doing okay. He gave us vegetarian-friendly recommendations as well for us to explore after our tour. Regarding the places we went to, they were all interesting and we appreciated the initiatives to support the local communities as well. We would highly recommend Big Handsome David and this tour package!

5.00Very interesting history of war. If youre afraid of bugs the jungle part may not be for you. The guide "Lockie" was very helpful and informative. Bring a Bottle of ice water to keep cool.

5.00This is one of the most worthwhile tour we’ve taken. The tour takes you to the Cu Chi tunnels paired with the context necessary to understand its significance, as well as allow guests to experience the tunnels for themselves. This tour also includes a boat ride to see the Mekong Delta in a much more personal way through boat rides into the delta and islands, followed by a tuk tuk ride into the village to interact with the locals. James and his crew took excellent care of us, and I highly recommend him and this tour to future visitors.

5.00The tunnels and history were fascinating and Tony tells you a lot about the war history in Vietnam. The palm forest was so peaceful. Tony made this such a unique experience with his personality - expect a fun and interactive day. “Never try never know!” There is a bit of time in the van but Mr Khahn is an unreal driver. Such a smooth drive and gets you to the destinations as quick as possible. Make sure you bring cash with you for tipping and purchases.

5.00We only had one full day in Ho Chi Minh City, so I was a bit apprehensive to sign up for this all-day tour. However, I am SO glad that I booked this tour as it was one of the most memorable days during my entire trip. We started the day at the Cu Chi Tunnels learning about the resilience of the Vietnamese citizens during the civil war. Our guide, Dyan, was very educated on the topic and provided plenty of historical information. Afterward, we went to the Mekong Delta and had a delicious lunch followed by a relaxing boat ride along the beautiful delta. We also got the opportunity to try the local honey and coconut products produced in the area. Dyan was incredibly kind and attentive, and really made the day special. If you are visiting Ho Chi Minh City, you simply must do this tour.

5.00It was a nice day tour from the city. Our guide was very kind and professional, we really enjoyed the day. Cu chi tunnels are interesting and if you are there, you must try the shooting. Is a bit expensive 750.000 for 10 bullets and that's the minimum you can purchase. We have visited a handmade coconut candy factory and Honey farm. The coconut forest ride was fun too.
