What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

AVOID THE MEKONG DELTA BIT JUST DO THE TUNNELS. Also the company lies they do not do hotel pickup drop off

2.00So I did a lot of research into torus and companies and settled on this one. First off the guide was great and the Chi Chi tunnels are AMAZING and definitely and highlight for the history and experience. Also lunch was really great and a nice way to get to know the fellow menders of your tour… BUT… avoid the MEKONG delta! One thing no body mentions in any review that I saw from then Chi Chi Tunnels it is a 2 hour plus journey to get to the Mekong. Then once you get to the Mekong you go through a variety of tourist traps designed to get you to spend money on crap! Eg coconut candies, pollen, etc. they werent pushy don’t get me wrong juts wasn’t really necessary or anything interesting… The actual journey time on the Mekong is very short less then 10 minutes but is indeed enjoyable. However then you have to drive 2+ hours to get back to Ho Chi. So 4-5 hours driving for what is effectively a 10 minutes journey is a total waste of time… Also in regards to this company THEY LIE AND DO NOT PICKUP FROM YOUR HOTEL. I was staying in district one in a hotel juts off main road. They refused to make a turn off the main road and pick me up and the drop off and pickup was ten minutes away. The guy who confirme the trip was insanely rude. Argued with me via whatsapp asked me what’s my problem etc. such a rude start to a trip is really not needed. My hotel was easily accessible they were too lazy to do the drop off but theirs listing clearly stated pickup from district one

5.00Today will be one I remember forever. The tour is excellent value for money and Theo, our tour guide, kept us energised, educated and entertained throughout the day. It is a long day, so be sure to prepare properly with the right clothes, shoes and sunscreen etc, but it is so worth it. The highlight for me was the Mekong River experience and riding the sampan - that was truly incredible and a unique experience I will cherish forever. I highly recommend it.

5.00We had a great trip to the cu chi tunnels and Mekong delta with our guide Theo. Theo was a fantastic guide who made our trip memorable. He gave us a lot of information about the cu chi tunnels and the viet cong and made the whole trip really interesting. After the tunnels we had a nice lunch which catered to both meat eaters and vegetarians. The boat trip through the coconut groves was good and also enjoyed trying the coconut sweets. Thanks for a great day Theo.
