What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

4.00We did the full-day Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tour and overall it was a decent experience. Our guide did a great job explaining the history and context behind the sites, which made the tour informative and engaging. The transport van itself was fine, but unfortunately we were seated in the very last row, which was extremely cramped with almost no leg space. This made the long journey quite uncomfortable, especially with other foreign travellers also squeezed into the back with us. It definitely affected the overall comfort of the trip. Aside from the seating issue, the tour itself was alright and the guide’s (Andy) explanations were a highlight.

5.00This tour exceeded my expectations. Bac was an excellent tour guide who really went above and beyond to ensure our little "family" as he referred to our small tour group had a wonderful, safe experience exploring the Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta. Bac was funny, informative and extremely helpful, even going so far as to advise people on the tour who were headed to the north of Vietnam of the potential of flooding and heavy rain. The tour itself is a long day, however it offers a lot of fun and unique experiences such as the chance to crawl through the Cu Chi tunnels, shoot a gun in a contained environment, and visit a couple of islands around the Mekong Delta. The included lunch was the best I've had in a tour like this and I'm glad I had the chance to visit an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that I otherwise wouldn't have visited as it is a bit out of the way from most hotels. The complimentary bottled water and fresh coconut water was also a nice touch and the air conditioned van was very clean and well maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this tour -- the activities are well-designed/organized and our tour guide Bac helped make this a truly memorable experience in our stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

5.00The trip was totally amazing the guide was extremely informative and friendly overall a great experience. The only thing that turned me off was when the guide said it would be a nice thing to give the boat paddlers a small tip which is something that we always do and usually very generous but when the person tells you how much to tip I just want to give them nothing not that I did but I sure wanted to.

4.00The overall experience was fantastic, I found the activities to be extremely rewarding and enjoyable. It was really interesting learning facts about the tunnels operations. My tour guide theo was excellent in providing an unforgettable experience. Only negatives I would say was the cost was very high to fire guns at the shooting range but it is optional.

5.00Wow! What a day it was, I highly recommend this tour it’s an amazing experience and really eye opening about the war, our guide dragon king was brilliant, he was very informative, funny, helpful and entertaining. All the stops along the way were really good to see local people and how certain aspects of the war effected them, the shooting range was also a really fun part of the tour (can be expensive depending how many bullets you opt for but entirely optional) The boat along the Mekong delta was beautiful scenery around and again meeting some of the locals and trying the honey at the bee stop was amazing, once again I would highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it just do it, it’s worth every penny!
