Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

Very entertaining. Lockie wanted to make sure everyone was having a great time with his singing abilities and his knowledge of Vietnam history. Also appreciated very well timed restroom breaks. Hero, the driver, was silent but very much a safe driver. As congested the traffic was, we never had any reasons to be nervous with his calm demeanor.

Brilliant day, Dragon King our guide was very knowledgeable and informative about Vietnam. The Chu Chi Tunnels was a great insight to the Vietnam war of the 1960/70’s. The Meekong River tour and Sampan ride along the river was fantastic and the crafts they displayed also very good and very cheap too. It’s a long day but so worth it and 10 out of 10 to Dragon King. Thank you.

An exceptional full day experience filled with culture, great food and an excellent host. Special thanks to Justin for making this experience a memorable one! Would definitely recommend if you’d like to occupy a full day with activities

Justin was fantastic, super attentive and genuinely friendly throughout. The experience lasted the whole day, but it was filled with a wide variety of activities, so it never felt long or boring. Honestly, it’s a 100% must-do if you’re visiting Vietnam.

This was a lot of fun, in a sort of surprising way! I booked this primarily to see the Cu Chi tunnels, but at the end of the day it was actually the tour elements surrounding the Mekong Delta that I found the most fun and interesting. The tunnels were very informative, and still an amazing experience from a historical perspective. That said, from a practical perspective there isn't much to do or see. The boat rides and cultural experiences on the Mekong Delta were surprisingly a lot of fun, especially the 4-person row boat. Ultimately it's a great 1-2 package. You get history at the Cu Chi tunnels, and then fun and culture at the Mekong Delta. I recommend!

An excellent day trip from Ho Chi Minh. Our tour guide Phillip was excellent - telling us about the history of Vietnam, the tunnels and Mekong Delta during the journey and throughout the day. The lunch was great - but you do have to buy your own drink. You are provided with one bottle of water during the day, so I would recommend bringing enough for yourself - but you can always buy it during the day. It is a lot of time travelling, but I would say if you are short on time it is worth it if you would like to see both these places. There was a toilet break on the journey there, but not between the lunch place and Mekong Delta, or between Mekong Delta and home - which were long journeys, so do factor that in and would be beneficial if a quick stop was offered for people during these long journeys.

An interesting day learning about the Vietnam war and then the food/drink of local people. Our tour guide was brilliant, both enthusiastic and entertaining. We were served a nice lunch but a lot of time was spent on the bus.
