What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

5.00Thuan was an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. We spent a good amount of time at the Cu Chi tunnels before having an amazing spread for lunch! The boat rides were very relaxing along the river and the visit to the coconut village was very cool! We had Vu as our driver and he got us everywhere safely ☺️

5.00This tour was really well thought out and we got a sample of Vietnam history, culture, food, and unique experiences with the bamboo boat to top it off. Nick was a fantastic tour guide and was very informative and friendly :) We knew the length of the day trip beforehand so we weren’t surprised by the 2 hour drive to Mekong Delta. It’s worth it for the honey farm, coconut candy, and my favorite: the river boat!

5.00Tom was a great tour guides, really informative and funny. Both parts of the day were great but if you have the time I'd recommend doing the trips separately, in particular the Mekong delta, it's probably worth doing an overnight trip so that you can see the market and get a better feel for their lifestyle.

5.00We had Big Handsome David as our tour guide today. Have to give him credit where its due, he made the whole group laugh many times with his jokes. Besides his comedy, he was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. The tour itself was very good. Expect a lot of travelling, but that has been the same with every activity we have done in Vietnam. Worth the low cost all day.
