Cu Chi Tunnels
We’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the early morning, and you’ll travel with your English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels. The drive is around 60 km. At Cu Chi, you’ll be shown a documentary film about the tunnels and learn how the locals made bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore the web of underground tunnels dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters.
My Tho
After exploring the tunnels, we’ll drive to My Tho. This is one of the provinces that comprise the Mekong Delta area. We’ll cruise by boat along the upper Mekong through a region with islands named after 4 animals that appear in Buddhist writings – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this part of the tour, you’ll observe some of the activities of regional Vietnamese daily life and appreciate how life here depends on the River. We’ll then take you on a trip by rowboat along the small waterways. You’ll see the agricultural richness of the delta region in its fruit orchards, coconut groves, and bee-keeping farms. We’ll stop so you can enjoy honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese folk music. At the end of our tour, we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.

We are so glad to have joined this tour today. Kim messaged us with pickup times, itinerary and schedule. Everything went to plan. Her knowledge of the history of Vietnam mixed with her humour made it very enjoyable. She is a credit to the company. If we ever come back for another tour we would want her as our guide. Thank you Kim.

It was one of my best memories from my trip to Vietnam! It was difficult to talk about history because I was not good at English, but I was able to have a lot of fun all day without feeling alienated. If you are not good at English, don't worry! (Ni) 's English was very easy to hear! The photos and videos were also great! Thank you very much♪

The Cu Chi tunnels / Mekong trip was one of my favourite experiences in Ho Chi Minh City. Kim, our tour guide, was remarkable from start to finish. Funny, polite and speaks excellent English! She kept us captivated from start to finish. We were collected on time at our hotel. I really enjoyed everything about this day and will definitely use Indochina Heritage when planning the rest of our time here!

Amazing adventurous tour. It started with a small delay but during waiting we enjoyed a cup of jasmine tea. Hopped on to a luxury van and found decent 5 group members on the van. The tour guide Mr. TOAN welcomed us warmly and was very supportive during the entire tour. Mr. TOAN provided us with all details and information about the tour and took care of us with ultimate care from fees to food and snacks. Special thanks to the driver for a smooth ride and Mr. TOAN.

We were picked up on time, and our tour operator Toan was fantastic. The drive was easy for a 2 hour ride, but the bus is comfy, and AC was great. Toan was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. The tour covered everything we expected, and all the little stops along the way were great. The lunch spread was great with plenty of food.
