Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta One Day is a small group tour that allows you to avoid the crowded touristy bus. Group size max of 12 passengers. We will pick-up at your hotel in districts 1, 3, and 4.

What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
We’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the early morning, and you’ll travel with your English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels. The drive is around 60 km. At Cu Chi, you’ll be shown a documentary film about the tunnels and learn how the locals made bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore the web of underground tunnels dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters.
My Tho
After exploring the tunnels, we’ll drive to My Tho. This is one of the provinces that comprise the Mekong Delta area. We’ll cruise by boat along the upper Mekong through a region with islands named after 4 animals that appear in Buddhist writings – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this part of the tour, you’ll observe some of the activities of regional Vietnamese daily life and appreciate how life here depends on the River. We’ll then take you on a trip by rowboat along the small waterways. You’ll see the agricultural richness of the delta region in its fruit orchards, coconut groves, and bee-keeping farms. We’ll stop so you can enjoy honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese folk music. At the end of our tour, we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.

5.00The tour was very well organised. Though it was two sites in one day it was conducted so well that we saw everything in depth and yet were not overly tired. Toan was a very knowledgeable guide. Gave us a lot of information on the Cu Chi Tunnels as well as Mekong Delta. My husband and I are senior citizens and we have to specially thank him for being very helpful to us and assisting us whenever needed.
Must do when visiting Ho Chi Minh!

5.00*Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour – 5/5* Great mix of history and culture in one day. The Chi Tunnels were fascinating, eye opening and well explained. The first half of the tour was finished nicely with a good local lunch. The Mekong Delta was the perfect contrast — slow boats through palm-lined canals, fresh coconut water, tropical fruit, honey tea that was all genuinely delicious. Special mention to Toan who an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, engaging, funny, kept everything on schedule, and made the whole group feel comfortable. Definitely one of the best guides I’ve had in Vietnam. Recommend this tour, and ask for Toan if you can. P.s. Shout out to the driver too. 👍🏽

5.00This was great excursion to see the remnants of war and experience first hand the battlefield. Xem, our guide, was very knowledgeable and filled us in on the bit of history and culture of the county. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Saigon.
