What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
We’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the early morning, and you’ll travel with your English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels. The drive is around 60 km. At Cu Chi, you’ll be shown a documentary film about the tunnels and learn how the locals made bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore the web of underground tunnels dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters.
My Tho
After exploring the tunnels, we’ll drive to My Tho. This is one of the provinces that comprise the Mekong Delta area. We’ll cruise by boat along the upper Mekong through a region with islands named after 4 animals that appear in Buddhist writings – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this part of the tour, you’ll observe some of the activities of regional Vietnamese daily life and appreciate how life here depends on the River. We’ll then take you on a trip by rowboat along the small waterways. You’ll see the agricultural richness of the delta region in its fruit orchards, coconut groves, and bee-keeping farms. We’ll stop so you can enjoy honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese folk music. At the end of our tour, we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.

5.00We had an absolutely incredible day exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and highly professional. Our tour guide, Kevin, was the highlight of the trip—truly excellent! Not only was his English perfect, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights that we wouldn't have learned otherwise. Kevin’s sense of humor kept us entertained throughout the day; he was funny and engaging, making the journey feel short and fun. Transportation was top-notch—clean, comfortable, and very well-organized. After the tunnels, the Mekong River cruise was a beautiful and relaxing way to see the local way of life. We were also very impressed with the food choices provided; everything was fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a well-managed tour with high-quality guides who truly care about your experience, I cannot recommend this company enough. Be sure to ask for Kevin—he made our visit truly memorable!

5.00Really enjoyed this full-day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly, the lunch was delicious. The stand out was our guide Emily who was fantastic. Her English was so good, she understood British humour. Emily explained the history clearly, and she made the long day enjoyable. We shared plenty of jokes along the way, which made the group feel relaxed and friendly. Cu Chi was fascinating and the Mekong was a nice contrast of river life and its people. A great day overall , highly recommended.

5.00We highly recommend the trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels combined with a cruise on the Mekong Delta. We joined the tour as a family of five and every one of us absolutely loved it. The trip was very well organized, productive, and full of interesting experiences. We had the chance to try many new local dishes and discovered a completely different, more authentic side of Vietnam that would be hard to experience on our own. Our guide, Emily, was absolutely fantastic knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and very warm. She shared fascinating stories, answered all our questions, and connected wonderfully with both adults and children. Communication with her was smooth and efficient both before and during the tour. Hotel pickup was punctual and hassle-free, with everything running right on time. It was an unforgettable experience that we will remember for a long time. We definitely recommend it!

5.00Max, our very friendly, energetic and organized tour guide, took us on an adventure to see Cu Chi Tunnel and Mekong River Delta. As we traveled in the comfort of the 7 person limo he talked about the history of Vietnam while answering all our questions. Lunch was delicious and drinks and snacks were also delicious. Musical performance and group dancing and some other surprises made for an enjoyable day.

5.00Wonderful outing to the site of an old battlefield, learning the history and tactics of the viet kong, followed by a trip across the Mekong delta to explore a local village and experience their way of life, craft and musics. Well fed throughout with delicious food and fruits, teas and honey. Our tour guide, Emily had a great attitude and humour! Thanks again!!
