What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
We’ll pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the early morning, and you’ll travel with your English-speaking guide to the Cu Chi tunnels. The drive is around 60 km. At Cu Chi, you’ll be shown a documentary film about the tunnels and learn how the locals made bamboo traps, rice paper, and rice wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to explore the web of underground tunnels dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters.
My Tho
After exploring the tunnels, we’ll drive to My Tho. This is one of the provinces that comprise the Mekong Delta area. We’ll cruise by boat along the upper Mekong through a region with islands named after 4 animals that appear in Buddhist writings – Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this part of the tour, you’ll observe some of the activities of regional Vietnamese daily life and appreciate how life here depends on the River. We’ll then take you on a trip by rowboat along the small waterways. You’ll see the agricultural richness of the delta region in its fruit orchards, coconut groves, and bee-keeping farms. We’ll stop so you can enjoy honey tea, seasonal fruit, fresh coconut candy, and southern Vietnamese folk music. At the end of our tour, we’ll drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel at around 18:00.

5.00I have been on a tour similar to this in a previous year but our tour guide Ni was so knowledgeable and friendly I learnt so many new things about the cu chi tunnels, the Mekong delta and Ho Chi Minh itself. At every location along the trip she had so much information about them all and was excited to share it with all of us. The experience was seamless from pick up to drop off

He kept the whole group entertained with his great sense of humor and genuinely nice personality, making the long day fly by. Highly recommend doing this tour if your in ho chi min and ask for Kevin.

5.00I went with my guide Kevin. There were six people on the tour, including us. It was easy to spend because it was small. Kevin's English was also easy to understand and he gave me a polite explanation with a mix of jokes. It's early in the morning, so you only have to be careful there. The limousine bus is recommended as the journey is long.

5.00Had a great tour with our competent guide (Kevin). He gave plenty of relevant information to the sites and countries history. Every question got answered. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable and they were kind enough to make stops on request enroute. Lunch was tasty and varied with vegetarian options, much to my liking. Would do the tour again!
