What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:45AM to 6:40PM - This VIP Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City with Transfers by Limousine allows you to experience the history, culture, and natural beauty of Southern Vietnam in just one day. Around 7:45am, get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances through the tunnels, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. You can also try your hand at shooting some of the old rifles used during the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available)
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms lining both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle. Stop by at the bee house to watch locals perform traditional music while savoring fresh tropical fruits and honey tea. We'll wrap up our day tour and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon, where we'll drop you off at your hotel around 6:50pm. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

5.00Such a fantastic experience, the guide was knowledgeable, considerate and a lovely person. There was plenty of good, drinks and snacks. The bus was comfortable with plenty of stops. I enjoyed every part of the tour and would gladly recommend to anyone. 10/10, price was fantastic!

5.00Nelson did a wonderful job as our guide on our journey through Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong River. The tour was very informative and entertaining. The opportunity to fire a AK 47 was definitely a unique experience. The Nelson gave us great insights into the strategy around the design and operation of the tunnels. He was very engaging which made the long journey between stops go by quickly. I highly recommend the tour and it would truly be a bonus if you were able to get Nelson as your tour guide.

5.00This was a highlight of our trip to SE Asia. It is a long day, but jam-packed with activities, from visiting the Cu Chi tunnels to experiences on multiple islands within the Mekong Delta. It was nice to be in a smaller group of only 6 people compared to the larger tour groups we saw in the Cu Chi tunnel area. The stop before the Cu Chi tunnels to see the traditional handicrafts being made was wonderful too - better than buying items in the city, where you don't know if they are handmade. The tour guide, Duc, was easy-going, knowledgeable, and funny. Kudos to the driver as well - it is a long excursion with lots of travel time and traffic in some areas. The car is very comfortable even with a full group. The tour included lunch in a gorgeous restaurant surrounded by nature and it included drinks throughout. You could also take food and leave items in the car for added convenience.

4.00Cu Chi Tunnels were definitely worth visiting - it's very moving to know that you are standing in places where many people ended up dying in horrific ways and learning about what happened. Our guide was great and he explained a lot about the history around what happened around the war and how people think about it today. Everything was organized and went smoothly. The van had very comfortable seats and even had a massage chair functionality which was a big surprise. The negative part was that most of the time is spent on the van (~6+ hours) and you really only spend 1.5 hours or so at the tunnels or the mekong delta.

4.00The tunnels were very interesting and Tommy was a great host . Friendly funny and answered all the questions . The gun range isn’t worth the money. The guns often jammed, and you can’t see if your on the target , near far hit not hit … so that was a bit of a let down. The island to look and the coconut making candy etc was ok the boat ride was a little experience but if your limited on time in Saigon I give this part a miss. That doesn’t take away that the tour and van and Tommy were not VIP just the interest sake for me . If I was looking to fill in days yes have with this tour group 100%

5.00It was a great tour that exposed us to the history of Vietnam which we heard and read about when we were young. Now we have witnessed the history that we learned previously which is really fascinating. The tour program is quite long but it covers the past and present of Vietnamese people and their culture and history. Theo has been very friendly and has answered all our questions in great details. He guided the tour extremely well and deserves to have 5 out of 5 star rating. Thin & Kay
