A varied tour from the artisans creating lacquer art works to being paddled down a portion of the Mekong river delta, to the intensity of navigating the tunnels. This tour is everything and then some. Group size of 10 is manageable. We had six cool travelers from around the world that formed a bond. Mr. Fa showed a dexterity in discussing the war, its effects on his country and his family. The tour bus was like a lux party bus.

This was a very comfortable tour. I had harry as my tour guide. The size was 7 people which was perfect. Harry knew his information well and was funny. The limousine was so comfortable everyone in there was asleep for the long drive.

Be prepared for a 12 hour day and have plenty of money for all the tip requests. We are not typically tour participants but wanted to experience the Mekong, would not do this again. Our guide Alex was very amusing and the perspective of the war from him was very educational, but even the short boat ride we were asked for tip before it was over.

Kai, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly how to keep the crowd engaged. He shared lots of interesting information and was always willing to answer our questions (I asked a lot because of my curiosity—thank you, Kai!). I highly recommend this tour to anyone, and if you can, ask for Kai as your guide. He’s fantastic!
