What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Around 8:00AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of Ho Chi Minh City or meet at the meeting point then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. After 2-hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where You'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the ingenious soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47.
After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:30pm for the morning tour and 7:00pm for the afternoon tour.

5.00I did the Cu Chi Tunnels tour today and it was excellent. Our guide, Tuan, was a Vietnam veteran (South) and brought a level of authenticity and personal insight that made the experience far more meaningful than a standard tour. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and balanced the historical context with humour and honesty. The tunnels themselves were fascinating, giving a real appreciation for the conditions and ingenuity involved during the war. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have the chance to go with Tuan.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and learned a lot on this tour. It began when our guide, Viet, picked us up from our hotel at 8 am and ended when we were dropped back off around 3 pm. The drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels took about 1.5 hours, and we made a brief stop at a local handicrafts shop along the way. Once we arrived, the guided tour lasted about 3-4 hours and included detailed explanations from Viet about the history of the tunnels, their critical role in the Vietnam War, the lifestyle of the Viet Cong, the ingenious booby traps, and much more. We even got to crawl through some of the original tunnels — a thrilling (though not for everyone) experience. There’s also a shooting range on site where we could fire weapons of our choice for an extra fee, which was really cool. After the tour, we had an excellent lunch at a nearby restaurant and then we were then driven back to our hotel in Saigon. As I mentioned, we loved this tour. A big thank you to our guide, Viet, for his knowledgeable and engaging tour, and to our driver, Kham, for safely transporting us to and from the tunnels. We had a great time and highly recommend booking this tour while you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon!

5.00Viet was our tour guide, and he was incredible. Excellent value for money. The tunnels, displays, and shooting range were great. Viet shared lots of personal stories from his own relatives which added a lot to the tour. I can’t recommend this enough.
