What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Around 8:00AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of Ho Chi Minh City or meet at the meeting point then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. After 2-hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where You'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the ingenious soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47.
After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:30pm for the morning tour and 7:00pm for the afternoon tour.

5.00Bao, our tour guide, was funny and very informative. The tunnels are an experience worth your time. Expect to be sweating alot, especially if you choose to crawl through the long tunnel.

5.00Tuan who was our guide was very knowledgeable and provided some background info during the tour. As he participated in the war himself, he was able to provide the group real life stories of how it was like living in the tunnels. Overall, it was a fun and easy tour to follow

5.00We traveled through Vietnam for a month and learned so much about the culture and especially the war. This particular tour taught us more than else we did on our entire trip. It was insightful and important to see for ourselves. We were fortunate to join a group of young people from different countries who knew very little about the Vietnam American war, so it was interesting to see everything from their perspective as well.

5.00A bus ride to the tunnels followed by a lovely explanation on the history, with an opportunity to explore the tunnels and hidey holes. Shout out to our guide Phuc who was knowledgeable and funny, and open to answering questions about the war and his life. Incredibly worthwhile.
