What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
Around 7:45am, get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances through the tunnels, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. You can also try your hand at shooting some of the old rifles used during the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available)
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms lining both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle. Stop by at the bee house to watch locals perform traditional music while savoring fresh tropical fruits and honey tea. We'll wrap up our day tour and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon, where we'll drop you off at your hotel around 6:50pm. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

5.00I had the pleasure of visiting both the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta River with our tour guide, Alex Cuong, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Alex is incredibly fun and full of energy, making sure the tour was never boring. Both sites were beautiful and interesting, but what really made the trip stand out was Alex. He kept everyone engaged, shared interesting stories, and made sure we had a great time the entire day. The Cu Chi Tunnels gave a fascinating insight into history, and the Mekong Delta River tour was relaxing yet exciting, with plenty of beautiful scenery to enjoy. Overall, this was a very nice experience – definitely worth it! If you want a tour that’s informative, lively, and just plain fun, Alex Cuong is the guide to book!
