ITINERARY:
07:30 Pick up at Phu My Port and transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels
10:30 Visit Cu Chi tunnels where you will have an opportunity to experience the underground life of guerilla fighters during the past war. The crawl through 50–100 meters of the tunnel system is unforgettable. You will be amazed at the tunnels with their underground story including trap-door, living areas, storage, weapon factories, field hospitals, kitchen, command centre, etc. Local rice paper workshops and nice paddy fields are pleasant sights on the way.
13:00 Have lunch at a local restaurant
14:00 Transfer back to the port
17:00 Drop you off at the port and finish your shore excursions to Cu Chi Tunnels

5.00We were picked up promptly at our cruise ship by Luan and a driver. We drove a few hours to the cu chi tunnels. Along the way Luan told us a lot of information about Vietnam, the war, and current culture of Vietnam. The tunnels were very very interesting! One of the coolest things I’ve done is crawling thru the tunnels. From there we had a delicious lunch and then went to Saigon for a city tour. We didn’t have to be to the cruise ship till 11 pm so it was a very long day but we saw a lot which I was grateful. Luan was talkative so the day didn’t seem too long. Also the driver ( I cannot remember his name) was very safe and courteous. I highly recommend Luan!

5.00Looking back into history – Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels My visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels was an experience I will never forget. My deceased husband was a US Army Soldier stationed in Hue in 1969 during the Vietnam War. He told me many stories of how beautiful the country was. Seeing Vietnam and experiencing the beauty on a private tour with David was a dream come true. His strong English communication skills were extremely helpful in understanding the past. David was also outgoing and personable. Wow – I felt like I knew David for my entire life! He understood where I was coming from and designed the tour around my needs.d If you want to see Vietnam and the tunnels with respect and dignity, David is the tour guide to select. He is the EXCEPTIONAL.
