- We recommend starting early.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels attract visitors daily, becoming particularly congested on weekends and Vietnamese holidays. It's not uncommon to find long lines at every stop, making for a packed experience on any given day.
- A half-day usually suffices. Aim to reach the tunnels either before 8:30 AM or around 2:30 PM. By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

5.00We finished our tour with Bunny and driver in for our VIP experience. Bunny is very knowledgeable, relatable and easy to talk to. She suggested where we could go and made the tour suit what we wanted. It felt like we were the only ones around as she made efficient use of the time we had. Our driver and his VIP limousine bus was well presented and perfect for us. Cu chi tunnels are amazing and interactive. Children loved it. Suggest wearing runners and bring bug repellant. Would hurt to pack some food for family as well. Tunnels can be tight, humid and make you feel claustrophobic if you’re that way inclined. Thank you Bunny and driver

4.00It's a long journey to the tunnels and they do stop at a handicraft centre along the way run for the handicapped people in the community. So bear that in mind. You are not pressured to buy anything. It was a good tour and the guide Hannah was very helpful. It's definitely a must do when you visit Saigon.

5.00My tour guide, Hannah, was a dutiful young lady who took excellent care of me. She has great knowledge and is very good at her job. The car provided was excellent (looks brand new) and the driver was professional as well; very attentive and helpful. I am glad I chose this service package to get to Cu Chi Tunnels. As for Cu Chi Tunnels, lots to see and do there. I even tried my hands at the firing range. Worth a try if you've never fired a gun before! (Very safe)

5.00I recently booked a solo trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels and it turned out to be a fantastic, all-inclusive experience. Although my guide, DV, was quite young, he was impressively knowledgeable, answering every one of my questions in detail and giving examples that really showed he knew his stuff. It wasn’t just a surface-level tour; he made the history come alive. The trip included more than just the tunnels themselves. We visited a local factory where they create traditional Vietnamese paintings using eggshells and seashells, which was a fascinating glimpse into local craftsmanship. We also enjoyed a river tour that took us to an island known for its honey production, where we were treated to complimentary fruit. On top of all that, the tour included a meal, transport, and all the tickets, making it a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable day. If you’re looking for a well-rounded and informative trip, this is definitely the one to go for, especially if your guide is DV!

5.00We had an outstanding experience on this excursion. Our tour guide, Max, was exceptional. He picked us up at our hotel and we had a two hour journey to get to the tunnels. During the whole time he interacted with us, provided a ton of history and knowledge and answered all of our never-ending questions. Once we got on site, he made the tour, especially memorable, providing historical knowledge as we went through the whole experience and he knew how to navigate so that we weren’t stuck in the crowds. Overall, it was an absolutely remarkable and memorable day. Highly recommend the excursion and Max as your guide.
