- We recommend starting early.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels attract visitors daily, becoming particularly congested on weekends and Vietnamese holidays. It's not uncommon to find long lines at every stop, making for a packed experience on any given day.
- A half-day usually suffices. Aim to reach the tunnels either before 8:30 AM or around 2:30 PM. By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

5.00Fantastic knowledge from Bunny - no questions went unanswered not only about the tour itself but her overall knowledge of Vietnam was outstanding. Bunny was a very pleasant, helpful and thoughtful tour guide at all times. A comfortable transfer to and from the tunnels in the Limousin van. Snacks and drinks were provided and Bunny contacted me prior to the trip for our snack and drinks preferences. Worth the money and a real highlight of our Vietnam trip.

5.00I had a wonderful time with Kim on a solo tour of the cu chi tunnels. From the beginning of the day she shared a huge amount of information with me about the history of Vietnam. She had a dry sense of humor which I appreciated and added levity to the day. She also took photos of me along the way which was so nice. I’d highly recommend her tours to others who are traveling to Ho Chi Minh City!
Whew did the tunnel tour and enjoyed it. A must do for any visitor to Ho Chi Minh.

5.00Bunny was hands-down the best guide we had in Saigon. She was super knowledgeable and explained everything about the Cu Chi tunnels in a way that was easy to follow and really interesting. She kept the tour fun, answered all our questions, and pointed out things we never would’ve noticed on our own. We learned a lot and had such a great time. Request for Bunny as your tour guide! You won’t regret it.

5.00Went to the tunnels with my mate on a private tour and both had a great time, sammy was so lovely and we had so much fun with her. She was so friendly and was full of knowledge about the war. Would 100% recommend to anyone who is interested in visiting the tunnels.

5.00Emily is an excellent guide — friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. She gave us detailed context about the Vietnam War and made the entire Cu Chi Tunnels experience engaging and easy to follow. We really enjoyed the tour with her. I would highly recommend this tour and make sure you go a bit later, it will be less crowded

5.00We had an incredible experience on the Cu Chi Tunnels VIP Private Tour. Our guide, Kevin, was absolutely excellent—his knowledge of the history surrounding the tunnels was exceptional and made the whole visit so much more meaningful. Everything was seamless from start to finish, and we never felt rushed. As an added highlight, Kevin even took us to a local street vendor to try a traditional bánh mì roll, which was amazing and such a thoughtful touch. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and well-guided experience.
