- The Cu Chi Tunnels attract visitors daily, becoming particularly congested on weekends and Vietnamese holidays. It's not uncommon to find long lines at every stop, making for a packed experience on any given day.
- A half-day usually suffices. Aim to reach the tunnels either before 8:30 AM or around 2:30 PM. By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

5.00This was an amazing way to head up to the Cu Chi tunnels (in style) and Emily was a great tour guide for the trip. The tour of the actual tunnels site was so perfectly timed that it almost felt like we were the only people there, but we still felt like we got to see everything there. Super informative and helped us better understand what went on on the Vietnamese side during the American War.
