- We recommend starting early.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels attract visitors daily, becoming particularly congested on weekends and Vietnamese holidays. It's not uncommon to find long lines at every stop, making for a packed experience on any given day.
- A half-day usually suffices. Aim to reach the tunnels either before 8:30 AM or around 2:30 PM. By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

5.00Visited Cu Chi Tunnels on 10 January 2026 with my wife. Loved the experience. A definite visit if in Ho Chi Minh City. Amazing how creative the VC and NVA were to protect their homeland. Tour guide Toan and Driver Lucky were awesome, patient and took care of all our needs. Toan explained in detail all the designs and operation of the tunnel systems and experience them as well. We definitely recommend this tour with IndoChina Heritage Tours.
Fantastic trip I would do it again. Very interesting.

5.00We have just got back from this trip and it was Amazing.. our tour guide was very friendly and informative. It was definitely worth every penny and more. The really did go out of their way for us. 3 hours to the port and it was no problem. The boys definitely deserve 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00Our guide Tiny did a fantastic job ! Her english was fantastic and she was very knowledgeable. The tunnels are one of a kind experience, and although the 2 hour drive in traffic one way was painful, it was still worth it.

5.00Went on this trip, today. It was a long drive, particularly on the way back due to traffic. Car was a new Toyota, with leather seats and plenty of room. Our guide was Hannah, who did an excellent job. She was engaging and knowledgeable. A really interesting day out!
