- We recommend starting early.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels attract visitors daily, becoming particularly congested on weekends and Vietnamese holidays. It's not uncommon to find long lines at every stop, making for a packed experience on any given day.
- A half-day usually suffices. Aim to reach the tunnels either before 8:30 AM or around 2:30 PM. By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

What To Expect
Cu Chi Tunnels
8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

5.00Had a great experience on the private tour to the tunnels today - our guide gave good overview on the history and relevant details on the way, and we managed to experience all key attractions at the location too (crawling through the tunnels, photos, trying local snack. We only didn't do shooting, but sure it would be good too). Overall very satisfied.

5.00Ni was a very good tour guide. She was very accommodating and knew her history. Since I was solo she made sure I saw everything that the other tourers did as well. She took photos and explained the history very well. At the end I wanted to get dropped off at the war museum which was out of the way and she did not hesitate and even showed me how to get the tickets etc. I would highly recommend Ni as a tour guide for my friends and family.
