Saborni Hram Hristovog Vaskrsenja
The Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ is Podgorica’s largest Orthodox church and one of Montenegro’s most impressive modern landmarks. Completed in 2013, it blends traditional Byzantine design with contemporary elements, featuring striking white stone, grand domes, and intricate frescoes. As you cycle past, you’ll notice its monumental scale and detailed exterior, making it a standout highlight of the city’s skyline.
Stara Varoš is the oldest part of Podgorica, where traces of the city’s Ottoman past still shape its atmosphere. As you ride through this area, you’ll pass narrow streets, historic mosques, and remnants of old stone houses that survived centuries of change. Near the rivers, the scenic Skaline area offers views of the Ribnica and Morača confluence, with a charming stone bridge and fortress ruins creating one of the city’s most picturesque spots.
