Our experience on this tour was amazing! The guide José picked us up at the hotel at the scheduled time and led us to a unique tour, the occasion when I was asked for a wedding. We were at Laguna Humantay, just the three of us, and he not only recorded the moment but also got involved and excited together. It will be marked in our history!

Our experience with Discover Pachamama through the Sheridan College TRIO group was truly unforgettable. We traveled together to Peru, where we had the opportunity to take part in meaningful humanitarian work by helping build a greenhouse for a family near Chinchero. Over the course of four days, we worked side by side, contributing to something that will have a lasting impact on their daily lives and future. Beyond the service project, we were also able to explore the incredible beauty and history of the region. We visited several Inca ruins, including Machu Picchu and took a memorable hike to a stunning waterfall—each experience adding a deeper appreciation for the culture and landscape of Peru. What made the trip especially impactful were our hosts, Jose and his wife Marisol. They were exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable, and their love for their country and its heritage came through in everything they shared with us. They created an experience that felt both educational and personal, and we are very grateful for their guidance and hospitality. This was more than a trip—it was an experience of service, culture, connection, and growth that our group will not forget.
