5.00Is it possible to rate Daniel Ponce and spending the day with him a 10 out of 5??? After ALL his amazing reviews I looked no further. His energy, LOVE of his job and the land, and fun fact of every sight, history and even trees(!!) was infectious. Sintra FAR exceeded our expectations. What an incredible place— so much to see. The ONLY way to get it all in is with Daniel. We will definitely come back for round 2 and in the meantime, will spread the word about Daniel and company back in the states. Best day ever.

5.00Daniel was so great to work with. We wanted to cover only places in Sintra, without any side trip to the beach, and that was fine. So we got in three monuments. He reassured me that the order he planned (which was different from what we would have done on our own) was the right way to do it. We had been reluctant to use a guide, but we are so glad we changed our mind, and at the almost last minute. We saw things we would have never noticed (but he pointed out). We saw more places than we could have seen on our own. And this was all with his wonderful sense of humor and lightness. Our authentic Portugese lunch was great (even accommodating a vegetarian), and he took the proper time at each stop - Quinta da Regalaria, Monseratte Palace, and Pena Palace. He took us to the best pastry shop for Travesserios. And he even followed up with us after the trip about a special event he knew we were going to. I would highly recommend using Daniel and his company.

5.00My daughter and I chose the full‑day tuk tuk tour with Daniel, and honestly, it became one of the highlights of our entire trip. We took a Bolt to the meeting point café in Sintra and met Daniel right on time — and from that moment, the day just flowed in the best possible way. We took the tour in January and although winter it had no impact on our day - just less people. What stood out immediately was how easy it was to be around Daniel. He didn’t feel like a guide ticking off stops; he felt like someone who genuinely wanted to share the places he loves. He told us stories, history, little details you’d never find in a book, and he did it all so naturally that we found ourselves learning without even realising it. We wandered through Quinta da Regaleira, walked down the Initiation Well, explored hidden corners, and soaked in views that didn’t feel real. Later in the day, standing at Boca do Inferno as the sun started to set was one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in — the colours, the sound of the waves, the feeling of being somewhere truly special. Our tour ended in Cascais. We strolled and had dinner. It was the perfect, gentle ending to a full and beautiful day. After dinner we caught a Bolt back to Lisbon, tired in the best way. This wasn’t just a tour for us. It was a day filled with connection, laughter, learning, and moments we’ll talk about for years. If you’re thinking about booking with Daniel, do it. He made our time unforgettable.
An Unforgettable All-Inclusive Tour of Sintra & Cascais

5.00This tour was the highlight of our entire trip to Portugal. We chose the all-inclusive experience and are so glad we did. Daniel and his team made everything seamless—coordinating our pickup, tickets, meals, and transportation throughout the day, and answering every question we had. A private car picked us up from our hotel and dropped us at a café for breakfast before the tour began. Pedro arrived in his tuk-tuk and gave us an incredible, in-depth tour of the area. He acted as driver, guide, translator, and even photographer. He went out of his way to capture amazing photos of us at the best viewpoints and major sites. His knowledge of the history and local stories went far beyond anything you’d get from a guidebook or museum plaque. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Colares before continuing on. One of the unexpected highlights was winding through the peaceful forest and then cruising along the coast at sunset on our way to Cascais. At the end of the tour, Pedro recommended a wonderful spot for dinner, and afterward our driver picked us up and brought us straight back to our hotel. It was a long, unforgettable day—full of great memories, stunning views, and a deeper appreciation for Portugal and its history. Highly recommended.

5.00Great tour with Daniel. He knows the best spots to see the castles around Sintra and explained to us all about the history of the region. He also gave great tips on where to eat and what to visit on our way back to Lisbon. The electric tuktuk was great because it made almost no noise. I highly recommend his tour!
MUST VISIT and MUST take the 3-4 hour tour.

5.00My fiancé and I came for a day trip to Cintra expecting to walk around, have lunch and maybe see a castle. What happened was magical. This was one of the best days of our lives. If you want to explore everything this incredible town and village has to offer you must reach out to @danielbeheal Daniel will not only take you to all the nostalgia this place has to offer but he will educate you and make you laugh along the way 🙏🏻 #unforgettable
