This was a fabulous trip. We enjoyed the flight, the view of the horizontal falls, tour of the hatchery and learnt all about pearl farming as well as a very enjoyable lunch and then a boat tour. It was a long day and not cheap but it was worth it. Made all the more enjoyable by our wonderful pilot Freddie. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Air Kimberley the organiser of the Cygnet Bay Explorer day trip. We had a full day of brilliance. The whole experience was wonderful, we really couldn’t pick one specific thing around the day, we enjoyed the whole experience, so thank you Air Kimberley. We would like to make a special mention to our pilot ‘Mia’ who was an absolute gem, & we feel she went above & beyond her duties. She made us feel very welcomed and was a great commentator sharing her knowledge of the great Kimberley’s with us. Thank you ‘Mia’ for making us feel very welcomed and making our day pleasurable. 5 stars for ‘Mia’.

*Dominic was an excellent pilot and tour guide. His skills were evident in super smooth landings. His respect for the land, the indigenous and the sky were apparent. 5 ⭐️ *Tour was amazing. We were blessed by fantastic weather which made for easy flying and smooth sailing. Really can’t describe what you see on the flight. *Hatchery is just a collection of water tanks with a handful of reef fish. Nothing special so could have skipped that part. *Lunch at Cygnet Bay was delish. Pro tip: skip the swim time, order a cold drink 🍷and enjoy the scenery before the tours. *Boat ride is fast - be sure to secure your hair and hat. Sunglasses are a must for the wind and sunscreen or protective shirt. They provide splash jacket which is smart on windy/choppy water days. *Pearl tour is informative but was a group of 20+ so not personal. Not much time to shop and selection was small.

The Cygnet Bay Explorer was unforgettable. Lachlan, our pilot and tour guide, took great care of us, as we winged our way to Cygnet Bay and beyond. Travelling by bus, air and boat, we ticked off a number of bucket list destinations during this day tour. The sights and sounds along the way were complimented by a range of experiences across the day, great lunch of Barramundi at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm and tour commentary to broaden our understanding and appreciation of another of Australia's gem destinations. Thank you Lachlan and Air Kimberley for giving us the opportunity to experience so many highlights in one day!

Friends and I took this trip on 9 September 2022. We traveled from Canberra and paid $4500 including airfare flying from Perth to Broome specially to see horizontal falls. However, we were told on the day that the plane would leave at fixed time (e.g. around 9am) each day. So there would be no falls to be seen. My question is if you knew there would be no falls to see at that time, why did not you tell us or say that in your tour web information so that people can choose different tour??? it was a total disappointment. The lady pilot (I forgot her name) was good.
