Pan for the famous Bohemian garnets. This stunning deep red colored mineral is a favorite part of jewelry all around the world. You can take them home in a small jar as an original souvenir. Head out to small villages with picturesque red roofs and charming churches, drive through the valleys and over the hills, pass by green and yellow flowering fields and grassland with livestock, vist a medieval castle and soak up the vibes of the real Czech countryside.
And of course try our hospitality in a cozy local pub where we taste famous Czech beer and cuisine.

5.00We went on a trip with Offroad Safari and it was absolutely amazing! We’re from the area, so we were already familiar with some of the places, but it was still incredibly informative and fun. The guide has excellent knowledge – he speaks with passion, goes into detail, and adds fascinating stories and context to every location. The best part was getting access to places you would never normally see. Thanks to the guide’s storytelling and approach, the whole experience felt truly special. Great atmosphere, beautiful nature, a bit of adventure, and lots of new insights. If you have the chance to join one of their trips, don’t hesitate – it’s totally worth it! 😊

5.00Had a great time, it was wonderful to get out of the city and see the countryside. As this is a private tour it was done at our pace and we were able to spend more time at the activities we enjoyed. Garnet planning was a highlight and we left with a surprising number of small gems, including a few that were large enough to use in a piece of jewelry. The lunch had a wonderful view. Loved stopping at a local farm store to grab some treats for the animals on the farm.

5.00What a wonderful incredible trip! beautiful countryside, fairytale scenery, castles, and panning for garnets (we found so many!) Martin was the best guide possible. So knowledgeable in every field- geology, history, politics, and so pleasant and friendly and helpful. I would recommend any trip with this amazing guide.

5.00Highly recommend any of the tours offered by Martin and Offroad Safaris. Our driver, Nikoli, was the first great start of our countryside tour. He picked us up promptly at our our Prague hotel and drove us to meet Martin in the countryside. Martin’s passion of his country and love of history is obvious. Learning more about the area that my great grandparents immigrated from was very enlightening! Martin was also very accommodating and took us to a couple other side trips we wanted to experience. The garnet panning led us to purchase some garnet jewelry later on our vacation armed w/ the knowledge and tips that Martin provided? Oh, and we had the best lunch at the small village pub!!! Double thumbs up and we will definitely use Martin again for another tour when we return!!!

The trip started on time-very warm welcome from Mr. Bares Lot of interesting information was provided along the visit of real rare places and special locations. Very interesting information. We felt cared of and in a good hands all equipment was safe and good communicated in great English language Overall we were happy and left to Prague with new experience:) TORSUS team
