The Marble Mountains
- Marble Mountains are a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It's also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang. - The caves within the mountains hold many secrets including bullet holes from when troops used to spy on the US soldiers relaxing on My Khe Beach below and buildings standing within the caves and grottoes. There are also Buddhist sanctuaries and places of worship dotted across the mountains which are a much-visited spiritual site.
Linh Ung Pagoda
A meeting place of heaven and earth’s sacred air and people’s heart Just 9 km away from the city center, Linh Ung – Bai But pagoda is now considered as the largest pagoda in Da Nang City in both scale and art of architecture. The pagoda brings a contemporary style combined with inherent tradition of pagodas in Vietnam, with curved roof in dragon shape, the solid pillars surrounded by sophisticated sinuous dragons.

As a first time traveler to Vietnam I was anxious to totally immerse myself in the food, customs and culture of a new country. Lucky for me I opted to rely on the help of these guys to show me everything I could experience. Hung and Dat added so much to every excursion they took me on - from the beautiful temples, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountain, Ba Na Hills, Hoi An (with a tailor visit and foot massage) and an adventurous food tour. The knowledge and pride that these guys have for their country is beyond amazing! And they take great pride in sharing that pride and knowledge with their clients. I can honestly say they added so much to my trip and I gained two friends from my time with them! Do yourself a favor and contact them to make your time in Da Nang and Hoi An an unforgettable adventure!

We hired Hung and Dat for a 4-hour tour for 3M dongs that included the marble mountains, lady Buddha, the marble cutters village and the Anh market. Hung was driving and Dat was talking. We loved the tour! Hung and Dat know so much about their country and its history and no topic was off limits! We asked so many questions and they always had the answer (and were very patient!). By that time we had been in the country for 3 weeks and had accumulated so many questions that we had no one to ask to. We highly recommend this service 👌

Great tour! We started with Monkey Mountain and the impressive Lady Buddha, then visited the Coconut Forest, they arranged this variation since we had already visited the Marble Mountain . The day ended in the beautiful town of Hoi An. Our guide, Tin, was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also stopped at a silk factory. Normally we don’t enjoy these kinds of visits, but learning how silk is made was genuinely interesting, and the quality of the products was excellent. Truly a great experience, highly recommended!

Our guide, Tung Dang, (fluent in English and Japanese) was incredible. His in-depth knowledge of local landmarks, history, culture, and even modern attractions, such as restaurants and bars, was well received. I'd recommend this intelligent and likeable professional to anyone ready to enjoy a sightseeing trip in Vietnam. (Also, many thanks to our competent young driver who moved us around Da Nang and Hoi An with confidence and skill.)

We arrived by Holland America and were greeted by Dat outside the port gates. The transport car for the day was comfy and had good AC! Felt safe with our driver, Mr. K all day long. Dat was super friendly and knowledgeable about Vietnam and the history. I was laughing all day long, felt like taking a tour with family. It was my birthday the next day and Dat took us to a nice restaurant in Hoi An and he bought me my lunch. He then took us all around the markets, helped with anything we needed and made our trip truly customed to what we wanted, no problem. This was my first experience with doing a private tour and I was not disappointed. I made a life long friend and enjoyed myself tremendously!!! Don’t hesitate to use this company. I have no complaints except I had to leave 😍 Ask for Dat! He’s truly the best!

This was the best tour we’ve ever experienced. It’s something we’ll remember forever. Our driver Viet was phenomenal, we felt very safe on the busy streets. Dat was our best guide we’ve had, he spent so much time sharing his knowledge about the city and history of Vietnam. Dat and Viet are amazing, thank you for everything! We can’t wait to have you again as our tour guide!
