Patricia was hard to hear at some points due to a large group of 27 and no hearing devices. A group of this size should be done with a Quiet Vox or similar appliance. Her accent also made certain phrases hard to understand.

Eric was fabulous. His background and knowledge made the tour so meaningful Group size was a little big but he handled it well

Took a tour with Eric and was floored by how rude he was. I asked him to speak up (he has low tone barely above a normal conversational level) and he said he wouldn’t, asking me to instead wade my through a herd of fellow guests standing closely to each other with their umbrellas open to get closer. Combined with his incessant need to editorialize on the differences between men and women (is that really necessary on a tour if a Nazi concentration camp?), I really regret paying for this. For anyone else considering it, I would recommend researching the transit route to get there yourself. The site has listening devices to help you learn about the camp and it will help you see more if the museum. With Eric, we only got to see maybe 10% of it because he wouldn’t give us the time to explore it on our own.

This was a truly enlightening experience. Our tour guide Richard humanized the atrocities of the work camp with stories throughout the 3 hour tour. The hospitality and ease of getting us to and from Dachau was amazing. I highly recommend this tour while in Munich.

Prepare to be emotionally overwhelmed when you step into the low ceiling "shower room" at the end of the tour. Absolutely chilling. I had to step outside at that point. Very important historical site any serious person in the Munich area must visit
