I’ve been on dozens of tours, and this is definitely one of the best I’ve experienced. My guide was Keith, and he had the route (train, bus) and tour perfectly timed and organized. His guiding was very engaging, and he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. I learned so much and am grateful for such a moving and educational experience.

Sam our tour guide was amazing and his passion and knowledge of Dachau was clear. He is clearly committed to the importance of understanding and remembering these events. He was also sensitive to the emotional impact it may have on members of the group. He kept the group moving but it never felt rushed. So much more informative than walking through the site on your own.

This is a great way to travel to and learn about Dachau. Our guide, Jake, brought levity to the experience, where appropriate, while also detailing the history of Dachau. It was great that Jake was able to tie in his own family history along the way. We will highly recommend this tour to anyone we know visiting in the future.

The Holocaust is a somber topic and this trip is a serious experience. However, having the right guide today (Jake) made the trip memorable and not in a sad way. He strikes a balance that works. He shares the history of the site as well as his personal family survival stories. When he meets you he just might dare you to like him …. He is just having fun. It is his way of dealing with the serious topic. This excursion is a must if you are visiting Munich. We remember and learn about our human history so we don’t repeat it.
