Jake was our guide and was very knowledgeable about a very sensitive subject. He kept us engaged all of the time with questions and encouraged questions as well. He was witty at times but also very serious when needed. He does not recommend younger than 15 or people who offend easily. Bottom line- GREAT TOUR!

This is a very important tour to take and Sam was full of knowledge and information about what happened in Dachau in the 1930s and 40s. He was an excellent tour guide start to finish arranging transport on the train and bus to the location. There is a lot of walking involved and rarely can you find anywhere to sit so be prepared. You’ll also want sun screen. There is a cafeteria on site that you stop at prior to boarding the bus back to the train to Munich. We are very glad we took this tour.

It was very hot that day. Very little shade and nowhere to sit and rest. The guide provided an enormous amount of German history but would have preferred only the history behind the Dachau Camp. Guide gave times to meet up when we were on our own but when we arrived on time she led us to believe we were late. The last time when she brought it up I said we have two minutes. She looked at her watch and said, Oh yeah! It was not a leisurely tour!
