Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kikuyu farmlands to the edge of the Great Rift Valley. Stop briefly to view the Great Rift Valley at the view point. Lunch at Narok where you have a walk around the Maasai Town. Arrive Mara late afternoon.

5.00we did the 4 days in masai mara safari. All pickups were timely, (more timely than we were, in fact) and all drivers knowledgable and experienced. The vehicles were less than comfortable, but real off road vehicles only occur within luxury safaris twice the price. The camp was satisfactory (Lemchada) and the staff there very friendly and helpful. unfortunately all the meat was from old animals, but thats the Masai way. We finished our time with Gracepat with a tour of Giraffe center and Elephant orphanage, which are both highly recommended. Finally that extra excellence was achieved by a whole lot of help with booking the second half of our Kenya trip (Lamu), wich had nothing to do with our safari and was done without service charges. Thanks for helping make our Kenya trip great!
