An amazing day out in the ancient rain forest where dinosaurs once roamed. So much life all reaching for the sky. The highlight of the day was a Cassowarie with two youngsters.

It’s not worth the high price tag. It’s a decent day don’t get me wrong. Our guide was great, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wet tropics region and the animal and plant life that lives here. But the whole day is spent in the van. It breaks down to about an hour for the boat ride (where you see crocs so that’s a plus), an hour for lunch/swim (lunch is veryyyy mediocre), maybe 30 minutes at lookouts and trails, another 20 minutes for ice cream, and close to 7 hours of driving. Maybe at half the price, it’d be worth it. Rent a car for the day and do it yourself for significantly cheaper.

We were swimming central to the group, but did not hear or see our guide gather the group. It was only seeing other guides approaching their group and bringing them together before departing that we realized our group had departed. Our guide left us behind at Mossman Gorge without any notice, we lost site of him and the rest of the tour. Making our way solo along the track back to the bus depot. At no stage did he come looking for us nor did he ask about us when the group returned to the bus depot. He seemed to not know we were 'missing'. Secondly, and this might be something you could implement. We booked as a couple in approx November 2025 but when we got on to the bus, all side by side seats were taken up by single occupants forcing us to sit separately. Surely it wouldn't be hard to reserve seats for couples etc. At the first opportunity we complained to the driver who then put us in the front cabin together which was pretty good.

Excellent tour, so much beauty in rainforest! We did a 1 hour crocodile cruise in the Daintree River, followed by some time exploring the Daintree Rainforest. The guide rainforest boardwalk was so informative. Our guide, Rowan, was so informative and knowledgeable. A free ice cream from the Daintree Ice Cream company was included! Would highly recommend.

Great full day tour of the Daintree with an experienced guide to answer all of your lingering questions. We took the tour from Cairns and they picked us up at our hotel (they pick up from all hotels in the area between cairns and port Douglas area) and we enjoyed the scenic approx. 2 hour drive to the Daintree. The Daintree river/crocodile tour was awesome and then our journey into the rain forest yielded some great views, information about the age and the animals and flora in the forest and we even saw 2 cassowaries! Our tour guide Warren was great and know so much about the area, its history and the plants and animals that call the rain forest home. It is a long day out on this tour and the road can be a little bumpy but the tour bus was comfortable, lunch was tasty (much more then a brown bag lunch) and once you get to Daintree there is a good mix of driving around and stretching your legs. Would recommend.

A long but fabulous day out. We saw so much wildlife, saltwater crocodiles, flying foxes and even the elusive Cassowary. Plus many good walks and views and of course the ice cream! Our guide, John, was the personification of all that’s great about Aussies, friendly, funny and informative. Even after listening to him nearly all day I still wanted to hear more.

It was a great day out, weather was good, don’t be put off by the time spent on the road…the scenery is beautiful along the way. Andy, our driver was full of lots of information that was very interesting. Craig, the boat driver in the Daintree River Cruise was also very informative and we did manage to catch a croc resting on the riverbank. The lunch stop was beautiful and very peaceful. All in all it was a great way to see some of the sights and I would recommend this tour. Thanks guys!

Our guide Daniel was super informative and kept us on pace for a scenic-packed day. The car was nice and the itinerary was well thought out. It’s definitely more relaxed and leisurely than we anticipated.

I liked this tour. Especially river cruise! But there is a lot of driving time. If you want to have a hike in the forest, it's not your variant. The guide is perfect!
