What To Expect
Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre
Our first stop for the day is at Mossman Gorge, the base of the Daintree National Park for a guided interpretive walk with your guide, capturing the best time of day for the perfect photo opportunity and the possibility of spotting a Boyd's Forest Dragon or a platypus.
Daintree
Our next stop is the Daintree River via the Mossman Township where sugar cane and the sugar mill features in the landscape. Arriving at the Daintree River we take a Wildlife Cruise. Here you can sit back, soak up the tranquility and natural beauty, listen to the songbirds and seek the elusive Estuarine Crocodile.

5.00Our first activity after arriving in Port Douglas was to take a Daintree tour with Tony's and it was fantastic. Our guide, Randall, kept us constantly entertained and educated about the nature and culture of the area. He was able to spot tons of wildlife we never would have seen otherwise. What a great way to start our vacation. Highly recommend!

5.00Whilst it is enjoyable from start to finish because of the professionalism and charisma of the guides (ours was Grant), it is not always possible to see crocodiles etc if the water levels/weather conditions are not suitable. I felt I was made fully aware that this was a risk, so only seeing 1 small croc was not a huge disappointment. I had a great day nonetheless and learnt a lot about the rainforest and the local history.

5.00What a great day in the rainforest with our amazing guide Ash. We loved getting to see the beautiful Daintree rainforest, swimming in it and learning all about it. We got to see some crocs, a dragon, and even some cassowaries. So cool. Lunch and our tea break were delicious. Just truly a wonderful day with a knowledgeable and kind guide. Ash, you made our day.
