We were unlucky as half of the trip canceled due to an unfortunate cancellation of river crossing. Our guide Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable. Probably with a better weather we would have a better experience.

Great schedule and we had an amazing driver and guide. Wear long pants and long sleeves. Mozzies are pretty ruthless lol

What a great day in the rainforest! Ash was an excellent guide - super knowledgeable, passionate about the rainforest and its flora and fauna, and a great personality. The tour was well paced and the time flew by. We loved the small group size as well. Thank you, Ash!

Even with challenging weather, this tour turned out to be a fantastic experience. Due to heavy rainfall, part of the itinerary had to be cancelled—but the operator handled it exceptionally well. They offered a full refund or the option to continue with a half-day tour at 50%, which we really appreciated. We chose the half-day, and it was absolutely worth it. We still had the chance to walk through the rainforest, take in the incredible scenery, and even spot crocodiles—an unexpected highlight! Our guide, Grant, made the day. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone still had a great experience despite the change in plans. His attitude and effort really stood out and made the tour memorable. While the weather was out of anyone’s control, the professionalism, flexibility, and overall experience were excellent. I would absolutely recommend this tour company and would gladly book with them again.

We originally had a whole day tour booked of Mossman Gorge, the daintree river cruise and Cape Tribulation but unfortunately it had to be cut short due to the weather. However because of our tour guide Chris, we still ended up having a fantastic time. Chris was so knowledgable about all the kinds of wildlife and plants we could see in the rainforest, and took his time showing us around and getting photos for us which was nice as a lot of tours can feel rushed. The company that Tony’s tropical tours chose to take us on the Daintree river cruise were also fantastic and we were lucky enough to see 4 crocodiles in the wild! We didn’t get to see Cape Tribulation but the day that Chris managed to give us more than made up for it, thank you Chris!

Due to all the rain and the Ferry being put out of commission they contacted me to offer a alternate 1/2 day tour. A refund of half the fare was quickly organised and received. The day started with a Mossman Gorge walk and talk. Our guide was very knowledgeable and full of information on anything Port Douglas and surrounds. Mossman Gorge is stunning and a beautiful part of the world to visit. We then went on to our croc adventure tour which was successful with several crocs seen sunbathing on the banks. So I will just have to go back and see the Daintree another time as if I needed an excuse to visit this amazing place again.
