Our guide Adam was excellent — knowledgeable about the area, great at pointing out places of interest, and always ready to answer any questions we had. The sites we visited were amazing and the tour was very well paced from start to finish. Overall I’d recommend this trip to anyone wanting to find out more about the areas surrounding Port Douglas.

Rob our guide was great, friendly, informative and entertaining. The whole trip was well organised including the nice mid-morning tea/coffee in the train carriage cafe and the lunch. Only downside was we saw very little wildlife other than a couple of baby Crocs and one adult on the cruise - not anyone's fault, maybe down to timing of trip.

A full on day, most beautiful scenery and lots of interesting history and information supplied by our guide. Order the fish or steak for lunch. Avoid the chicken wrap!

From pickup to drop off, Ash our driver kept us informed of the itinerary, wildlife and trees within the various locations we visited with a good level of knowledge. It was a really good small group (only 8) tour, I recommend using this company.

Very informative tour with a great tour guide, Rob. I do not wish to write 100 characters. I just wanted to write a favourable review.

It was a wonderful day trip with various stops around the Daintree Rainforest. Our guide, Rob, guided us very savvy and gave us valuable information on flora and fauna as well as on the natural history background. He had great expertise and was able to convey this to us in a very entertaining way. The food and lunch were also very well selected and left nothing to be desired. And we were a small group (9 people), which also made the whole thing very pleasant. We can highly recommend Tony’s Tropical Tours (and especially our guide Rob).

Full day in a comfy van. Guide Chris(ask for him) has broad and deep knowledge of all aspects of the trip. We are biologists and enjoyed the details provided. Wonderful hike in the forest, boat trip seeing crocodiles, tea and yum baked goods, explored a forest area privately owned and very beautiful, travel north to Cape Tribulation beaches, nice lunch and finish with tropical ice cream. The absolute best!!

A fantastic experience. Our tour guide was funny and informative. The fact that it was a small group tour made it seem better, more intimate. I would recommend this trip to others.

A very knowledgeable tour guide took us through Mossman Gorge and River area, pointing out basket ferns the size of large sofa. The dedication to conservation was evident when our tour guide lowered himself 12 feet below the bridge to retrieve a plastic bottle that had fallen into the river, then climbed back up to the bridge – dedicated and very strong.
