The tour guide was professional. The activities were very nice and the tour guide had a lot of information regarding the sites in Dakar and Goreé island

We went to a variety of African museums. Our tour guide was knowledgeable on the area. I have found that African museum tours are a little bit disappointing overall because they tend to focus on telling you what the item is, as opposed to why it is there and who this person is. Museums are a way to tell stories, and should be more than a collection of items. The touring company was excellent, the museums were a bit disappointing.

This musium/monument tour is amazing. I didn't know about Ousmane Sow, but his house turned into museum is wonderful. You get to see many of his master pieces close up, and they will fascinate you. The house itself is a nicely designed great architecture. Visiting inside the African Renaissance statue is a precious experience. Inside exhibitions are fun to see, and the small elevator you take to go to the top of the statue is exciting. You get to see great view of the statue and the city of Dakar from the top. It's not easy to wander into this statue without prior arrangement, and Pape does it best. The Black Civilization Museum is definitely a must-see. Full of amazing exhibitions (historical stuff, plus first-class traditional and modern arts) and you get to fully enjoy them with Pape's gauidance. I totally recommend! In case some might be worried about the sacurity in the city after some news coverage of political unrest, I have to tell you it's totally safe and calm. I thought about cancelling the trip once, but I'm so glad I didn't!!! Thank you, Pape!

Pape knows Senegal history! The museums and monument are must do activities. Pape is very thorough with his explanations, takes his time, and has a sense of humor. You can’t go wrong with him leading your group.

The trip to the museum and the Renaissance monument were outstanding. Although I was a bit reluctant to climb the 210 stairs....I did it...I felt so proud of myself as I came down the 210(420) total....I would have enjoyed more time at the museum...but I do plan for another trip to Senegal. We toured not only the tourist spots, but we explored the food and cultures of the people. The tour was really and enrichment for me. Our trip was in March 2020 pre-Covid
