  The river cruise is certainly worth doing although the mud bath was not my favourite (personal choice). The guy giving the chat is very engaging although am not sure how accurate some of the facts are. Worth checking about those tombs. Transfers were great and comfortable.

  This was an excellent excursion and great value, definitely would recommend it. The pick up was on time, we were the first (in Icmeler) and it took around 90mins to collect everyone else and drive to the lake to meet the boats. Plenty of space on the boats and the crew were friendly and provided all you needed. The mud bath and thermal spa was fun, we swam in the lake as well. The crew make sure you get to see everything along the river, from turtles to the tombs, with the guide providing loads of information. The highlight for us was seeing the turtles and trying to feed them, not something you get to do every day! The only downside to the trip was the price of drinks, soft and alcoholic, we didn't have many and spent as much on them as the trip cost. If we head to that area of Türkiye again, we would book this trip again, a great day out.

  Informative boat trip relaxing and very enjoyable. Funny captain *** excellent food goodness how his wife managed the cooking g and organisation of feeding all of us in a very smash gallery. Brilliant day x

  It was a good day out, very long and hour trip to the lake, going across as we stopped at Mud Baths, very smelly as expected however good fun, lunch on the boat was good, then moved to the beach, however journey back on the boat to get the coach was 2 hours should have taken a book

  Great tri. So much fun. Boat trip relaxing. Views just incredible !!!. Turtle beach omg we actually fed turtles what an experience. Mud bath a laugh 😆 great day out from 8am pick up to return 7pm. Trip booked with Sunny Temel Trips £25 per person which is incredible value for money as lunch included too. Well worth booking.

  

  

  

• Dalyan Turtle Beach Day Trip - INCREDIBLE !!

  100% recommend this day trip! It was honestly the best trip I’ve been on and an absolute bargain at £25 each (we heard others paid £18-20 too). We also heard that tour operators such as TUI were trying to sell at £70pp so definitely go local! It’s a full day 8-8 with hotel transfers. We used Barkas Boats and the boat was amazing. Had the option of upgrading to VIP which we’d also recommend as was only 300tl each and you get access to the top two decks and was much quieter with incredible views. Plus table (sunbed) service! You spend a couple of hours each way on this boat which is lovely and relaxing. Lunch is included which is a breaded chicken schnitzel type thing, tomato pasta and salad. I’m vegan so asked for pasta and salad only and they doubled up the pasta portion! Drinks were reasonably priced and we took our own snacks too, which wasn’t an issue. Turtle food is available at 400tl and well worth buying as the turtles go wild for it! We saw probably 10 in the time we were there and it was just incredible - even seeing one would’ve made our day. Mud bath I’m sure isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but we enjoyed the novelty and your skin does feel amazing afterwards!

  The tour was well organised and very friendly guides. From start to finish we were catered too. Turtle beach was just amazing, seeing the turtles in their natural habitat. Would thoroughly recommend and even considering going again.

  

  

  

  

• Dalyan cruise, a fantastic family experience

  Thanks to John at Transail Travel Agency for organising this trip from the turqoise hotel, oludeniz. Dennis, our guide, was fantastic. He was friendly and very informative. We were picked up from the hotel and taken to meet a small 30 seat boat. After a short 20 min cruise we got to the mud bath where cleopatra reported to have bathed. We spent an hour there and then cruised back to the start point for lunch of either chicken, fish or omelette. The food was included in the price but drinks were extra. After lunch we travelled to the tomb of kings, where we stopped for photos. We then continued on the cruise to see the loggerhead turtles on the Dalyan lake and spent some time at the beach. The excursion lasted from 8am until around 6pm. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone, except my youngest daughter who said the mud was a little fragrant....

  We really enjoyed our trip. The veiws were beautiful. We stopped off at the mud baths and loved swimming in the lakes and the pools. Also saw the tombs and the donkeys on the island. Our favourite part was the beach stop off. It's a beautiful beach and we managed to see some turtles at the pier which was amazing! Veronika was a brilliant tour guide; she was very helpful, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour. We also really liked the couple in charge of the boat (we didn't catch their names - sorry!). Drinks were a good price, and the lunch was lovely. It's a long day, but it's worth it.
