What To Expect
Dana Point Harbor
Please note: Your specific route depends on the option selected at booking (Harbor Tour or Bluff/Lantern District) We will walk the harbor & learn about it's history, fascinating stories & I will take photos of your group along the way. There are 2 different options for the walk: Option 1- we will meet at the parking Structure off Golden Lantern St. & walk the whole harbor. It is around 2.5 miles and takes about 2 hours. Option 2- we will meet by the Ocean Institute at fisherman’s pier & walk the west side and over the bridge. This walk is 1 1/2 miles a takes about 1 hour. Both walks include candid photos as well as a portrait session over looking the Pacific Ocean. This is a fun, scenic, and informative casual walk. You will receive 50 photos (candid and posed- professionally edited) I am very flexible, we can vary the walk according to your group and ability. There are restrooms along the way as well as a coffee shop for refreshments. This is a family and kid friendly walk.
Bluff Top Trail
Please note: Your specific route depends on the option selected at booking (Harbor Tour or Bluff/Lantern District) Walk the historic Bluff Top Trail for breathtaking 180° views of the Pacific Ocean and Dana Point Harbor from above. We’ll explore the 'Arches' of the 1920s Dana Point Inn and wander through the charming Lantern District, known for its unique history and coastal architecture. This route offers a stunning elevated backdrop for your professional photos.

5.00Lezlie gave us an incredible walking tour of Dana Point that went way beyond anything we expected. Her knowledge of the area's history was deep and genuine and she brought it to life in a way that was engaging and memorable. One of the highlights was learning about the woman who was the real driving force behind the local real estate market, only to have the men around her take the credit. That story alone was worth the tour. She took us to Baby Beach and explained its history beautifully. But what truly set Lezlie apart is that she's also a talented photographer who knows this coastline like the back of her hand. She knew exactly where the best light was at every stop, and she captured stunning photos of us along the way. For once I got to actually BE in the pictures instead of always being behind the camera. That gift is priceless. If you want a tour that combines local history, hidden gems, and gorgeous photos you'll actually treasure — Lezlie is the one. Highly recommend her without reservation.

5.00We LOVE Lezlie!!! We had such a blast. The tour was so fun and engaging, Dana Point is stunning and Lezlie had so many fun facts and made learning so fun! She made us feel SO comfortable while she took our photos during the tour and even helped us with poses. We will definitely be framing some of our photos. She met us right outside the parking structure and was waiting for us when we arrived. She even gave us a ton of tips and recommendations for the rest of our stay in Dana Point! We just loved it!!!

5.00Beautiful location with interesting history and features. 2 1/2 hr great waking tour with family - parents, kids and 2 grandkids. Leader was informative, pleasant and wonderfully flexible based on needs, interests, and walking ability of group/grandkids. Photos are an added bonus.
Amazing harbor tour with my family with small children! Memories of a lifetime.

We brought 4 small children on her tour and had a blast exploring the harbor, creating fun memories, and hearing fun facts about the historic site as we strolled. We now have many, many beautiful keepsake photos from an extraordinary afternoon! 5.00My wife and I booked Lezlie for a walking tour around the beautiful Dana Point Harbor. We saw that she took stunning photos and have been looking to get some great shots for holiday cards, all while getting to learn the history of such a beautiful town. Lezlie made taking photos feel really easy and natural and we just got be ourselves while she captured some great shots. Lezlie is really knowledgeable about the area and it was fun to learn about the harbor while taking in the gorgeous ocean scenery. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the scenery while lezlie took some great shots. Some were candid while we were enjoying time together and some were posed which gave us a good mix. Lezlie would pause and adjust her settings every now and again depending on the lighting which made us feel like she really knew her way around the camera and the results speak for themselves. I would definitely recommend this experience, especially if you are a lover of great photos.

5.00This was a fantastic experience all around. We were visiting for our 10th anniversary and the weekend was forecast to be rainy the entire time. Lezlie kept in close contact the whole way and was so flexible with us! The morning of our walk she saw that the forecast showed a possible break in the rain that afternoon so she suggested we could wait until then & give it our best shot even if it turned into photos in the rain. She suggested we drive between places to avoid getting caught in downpour. It turned out to be the perfect plan, and we ended up being blessed with beautiful weather! We had so much fun seeing the different locations and hearing all of her knowledge on Dana Point. She made the entire experience so enjoyable. I’m much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it but she helped us through the posing and we came out with some great shots that we will cherish forever. This was the highlight of our anniversary trip and we highly recommend Lezlie & this experience to any and all who are interested in seeing Dana Point and learning some of its history. Receiving beautiful pictures at the end is such a gift - often all we have are “selfies” - was nice to put down the phone and leave the photos in someone else’s very capable hands! Thanks again, Lezlie!

5.00This was 100% worth the investment. We had the best day and now we have incredible, professional photos of our trip! Lezlie was excellent and so easy to work with. She has exceptional knowledge of the Dana Point area and and took us to the most beautiful, photogenic locations. She did a great job of both capturing our genuine moments, as well as helping us pose for some really cool shots. Our pictures turned out even better than we imagined! My wife and I both HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lezlie's Walking Photo Tour to anyone wishing to make and capture a fun memory in the south Orange County area.
