From hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, drive to MARBLE MOUNTAIN to explore huge natural caves used by VC soldiers as hiding places & hospital in Vietnam War. Take in the views of river, ocean & islands. Admire the rustic beauty of old statues, historical pagodas, and Buddhist temples. See amazing sculptures in a 500-year-old marble carving village.

We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). From the high points, you'll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific Ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats... Visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, she smiles upon the fishing village. Walking in the gardens of beautiful flowers and bonsai trees. You'll see common Macaque monkeys... IF LUCKY, you'll see the rare & endangered colorful Langur monkeys.

Fun and informative tour! Our guide was attentive and helped increase our level of enjoyment! I would not hesitate to recommend this tour! You can’t go wrong with Ben. He might have spoken better English than me!

Overall it was great. Brian, our tour guide, was very polite, answered all our questions thoroughly and was enthusiastic in showing us around. The driver was also excellent. I took off one star for two points- it was mostly my family's fault for dilly-dallying throughout the day but we weren't able to see the marble mountain in its entirety, just the cave in the bottom. If Brian had mentioned earlier to pick up the pace a bit because the mountain closed at 5pm we probably would have. The main reason for deducting a point was that we selected the dinner option. The dinner itself was fine and the staff were good but halfway through a rat ran across the restaurant, very gross and made us suspicious of the hygenics there.

Excellent excursion with an excellent guide Brian. He was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and caring. As I’m nervous about steps and uneven surfaces he helped me feel safe. Marble mountain/caves and monkey mountain with the lady Buddha were excellent to see and beautiful places. Organisation and communication was great and lots of info was shared during the trip too. Our guide Brian was so good we would recommend this trip. Valerie and Steve

Carol, our guide, did a great job. Her English was excellent and she was very knowledgeable. Because of her we were able to locate, and photograph several of the elusive Langur monkeys on Monkey Mountain. We are very happy that we chose this tour....even though it was a bit pricey.
