From hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, drive to MARBLE MOUNTAIN to explore huge natural caves used by VC soldiers as hiding places & hospital in Vietnam War. Take in the views of river, ocean & islands. Admire the rustic beauty of old statues, historical pagodas, and Buddhist temples. See amazing sculptures in a 500-year-old marble carving village.
We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). From the high points, you'll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific Ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats... Visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, she smiles upon the fishing village. Walking in the gardens of beautiful flowers and bonsai trees. You'll see common Macaque monkeys... IF LUCKY, you'll see the rare & endangered colorful Langur monkeys.
You can choose Morning or Afternoon tour, With or Without a Meal at different Prices & Durations.

What To Expect
The Marble Mountains
Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers. Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. A knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don't have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues, and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will learn interesting local beliefs and Buddhism.
The Marble Mountains
Continue to explore Marble Mountain, and enjoy the river views and ocean breeze at various points. Visit the huge Heaven Cave, you will take in the beauty of natural limestone formations. Take pictures with rustic statues of Lady Buddha, Happy Buddha... Visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble sculptures made by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain.

5.00My wife and I had a wonderful tour We were picked up on time by our driver Tam and our guide for the day Quyen. Who went above and beyond to make our experience better and gave us extra time in each place to take photos or see the monkeys . Quyen also took some beautiful pictures for us both . We went to Monkey Mountain first and were lucky to see monkeys straight away . After taking some photos we traveled up the mountain to different views and sights . We were lucky again to see a family of rarer monkeys in the trees on the way down, we then enjoyed the lady Buddha and Pagoda and stunning Gardens and surrounding area. After we went to Marble mountain and walked up to the stunning caves . We were late back only because they had kindly given us more of their time. Thank you both ❤️🙏🏻

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Carol and her team. She was so friendly and provided lots of interesting facts. The tour itself is a perfect half day around some of the sights of Da Nang. Perfect views, amazing history and culture, and we were fortunate enough to see so many macaques and even the elusive langur. We chose the lunch option and Carol helped us with the perfect menu for amazing Vietnamese food. I’d recommend this tour to anyone!

5.00A great tour with very pretty sights. Kha was a great guide. He took care of us all day and even found some langurs for us. He had lots of great information about marble mountain and monkey mountain, and he happily answered the hundreds of questions that we asked. We would love to take another tour with him. Thank you also to Tam for being a great driver.

5.00Very well conducted tour by Thanh which overall was fascinating and informative. Learnt very much more about Vietnamese history from the tour. Also the views, monuments, caves, sculptures and temples were wonderful. Highlight was the monkey mountain seeing the Red Shank monkeys and experiencing an old jeep to ride in. Great tour thank you Thanh and your associates for an excellent experience in Da Nang this trip to Vietnam.

5.00Thanh picked us up promptly and introduced himself clearly to us. His list of places to visit was more than we had realised, Thanh kept us on track with chatty information about the area and what it held. It was all enjoyable and informative . Marble mountain with its caves and history were so interesting, followed by the ‘old American army Jeep’ drive up through Monkey mountain, we had spectacular views of the city of DaNang along with a performance from the local monkeys the Red Shanked Douc Langurs and Macaques. This was then followed by sunset seen from the ‘Lady Buddha’ and a tour of the gardens surrounding the Lady. An all around excellent afternoon with a clear and enthusiastic tour guide, two very experienced and safe drivers (one of the modern vehicle and one driver of the army Jeep). We recommend this tour to every age group.

5.00An absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide Peter and our driver Tam (same drive as two days ago to Ba Na Hills). Peter gave us so much information on our tour through Monkey Mountain and Marble Mountain - and truly displayed his in-depth knowledge of all there was to tell us of these various locations. You will be lucky to have him as your guide if you book this excellent tour.

2.00Private Tour Car and driver is good. And we completed the tour. Nice people and very polite. But our tour guide seems lack of experience and knowledge and focus. It feels like she showed us the highlights and rush us through the tour and landed us in a jewellery shop! I seen the practise of landing a group tour in a shop for sale etc. I have not seen this as part of the tour description. We would not recommended this tour and the local tour operator is Buddy Tour
