From hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, drive to MARBLE MOUNTAIN to explore huge natural caves used by VC soldiers as hiding places & hospital in Vietnam War. Take in the views of river, ocean & islands. Admire the rustic beauty of old statues, historical pagodas, and Buddhist temples. See amazing sculptures in a 500-year-old marble carving village.
We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). From the high points, you'll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific Ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats... Visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, she smiles upon the fishing village. Walking in the gardens of beautiful flowers and bonsai trees. You'll see common Macaque monkeys... IF LUCKY, you'll see the rare & endangered colorful Langur monkeys.
You can choose Morning or Afternoon tour, With or Without a Meal at different Prices & Durations.

What To Expect
The Marble Mountains
Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers. Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. A knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don't have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues, and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will learn interesting local beliefs and Buddhism.
The Marble Mountains
Continue to explore Marble Mountain, and enjoy the river views and ocean breeze at various points. Visit the huge Heaven Cave, you will take in the beauty of natural limestone formations. Take pictures with rustic statues of Lady Buddha, Happy Buddha... Visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble sculptures made by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain.

5.00We had a great time during this tour! In a few short hours we were able to see many of the important cultural sites in and around Da Nang. Our guide Kha was extremely knowledgable and provided us with a wealth of information. He is also extremely fun, and a great photographer too! I’d highly recommend this tour if you are spending a day in Da Nang.

5.00Today my husband (78yrs) and I (74yrs) to a tour with Viator Local Buddy Tours to Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain and thr Lady Buddha. We have travel to many places over the years and done many tours but we have only enjoyed a few as much as this one. Our driver Quang and our tour guide Hannah were brilliant, so helpful and Informative. I would recommend using thi tour company and if possible ask for Hannah and Quang you will not be disappointed. 5.00What a great day. Our guide was Kha. Great sense of humor but also very knowledgible regarding Vietnamese history and culture. Very cmfortable in an air coditioned van. Plenty of time to appreciate all of the amazing features of this tour. We were even lucky enough to see a family of monkeys in the trees at Monkey Mountain.

5.00The whole experience is brilliant, the jeeps are fantastic. Monkey mountain was fascinating we saw the rare one while we were there. The lady Buddha is beautiful surrounded by gardens. Then marble mountain with the caves, wow, stunning highly recommend this trip. Tour guide was brilliant too.

5.00We had a great tour in Da Nang with Kera.bl we stopped at the Love Pier and viewed the Dragon Bridge We also toured beautiful Marble Mountain and the Buddhist Temples on the Mountain. After that we stopped at the Stone Village to see beautiful stone carvings We drove along beautiful My Khe Beach before reaching Monkey Mountain. We were able to stop and see a group of 20 monies on thexside of the road. We continuedto the Monkey Mountain view point. We saw more monkeys in the trees near the top. Our final stop was at the Beautiful Lady Buddha complex. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are in Da Nang.

5.00Sunny was the perfect guide, fluent in English, and a real laugh. His knowledge of the sights, and his understanding of local queues, etc made for a smooth and informative trip. The ride in the US army jeeps on Monkey Mountain was loads of fun and, as an off-roading fan, was very informative. The lady Buddha monument was crowded so was difficult to photograph, but also well worth the visit. There are 150 steep steps to climb to reach the caves in Marble Mountain but the experience once inside is worth it. Make sure your guide times it for around midday so the sun shines directly down into the caves. Don’t buy anything at the marble ornaments shop stop, the prices are ludicrous, but rapidly came down (not enough) with a little bartering. You basically take a break here for a clean toilet.
