The fascinating Dark View Falls tour runs along the West coast of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the foothills of La Soufriere Volcano. Scenic photo stops along the way will show you our rugged, natural terrain. Passing black sand beaches along the way. A short walk through a bamboo grove, which includes the option of traversing a traditional bamboo pedestrian bridge, will bring you to the impressive falls, which has a pool for bathing and spectacular views. The waterfall cascades about 100 feet. The source of the falls is the Richmond River, which begins in the foothills of the volcano.

Fred took us on an amazing tour of Dark View Falls and Wallilabou Bay! He was super knowledgeable, and the tour was hands-down the highlight of our trip. We learned so much about the island’s history, and when one of our group members mentioned she was interested in native plants, Fred went out of his way to point out the local vegetation, which was such a nice touch. I’ve done a lot of tours while traveling, but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. Fred was really flexible, letting us tailor the trip to what we wanted, which we all appreciated. If you're visiting, I can’t recommend him enough!

Nice trip to see villages. Lot of curves and hills and long trip but nice. Stopped for lunch on way back and it was an interesting good idea of the culture. Guide Freddy amazing.

This was amazing. The view was breaking 😍. Speechless. 10 out of 10. Love the view walk across the bamboo. Little bit of hiking. Orvill my tour guy was awesome 👌. Even took our pictures.

Guide Fred Stay was very punctual, was a quiet driver, gave interesting explanations and was very easy to understand. Many, even small nice stops.

Fred gave me a great tour of Fort Charlotte, the Botanical Gardens, and Dark View Falls. He was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable and articulate, and had a wealth of information to share. I truly enjoyed the tour and conversing with him at length about a large variety of topics. He gave significant insight into the history, culture, government, and people of St. Vincent. I also booked Fred for a tour of the Montreal Gardens on my last day in St. Vincent and transportation to the airport. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him if you visit St. Vincent, he greatly enriched my experience there.

Fred, our driver/guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous! He answered all the questions we could come up with as we drove around the island. We covered history, culture, food, government, and many other topics. The walk to the falls was reasonable and Fred stopped for photos at our request, as well as suggesting several excellent vantage points for pictures. The island is truly a gem of the Caribbean, picturesque and vibrant. The tropical rain forest is beautiful and full of interesting things./

Had a great trip with Fred and enjoyed a full day out on the island. After not finding a trip included on our Marella cruise that we fancied, this was the only one booked through an outside tour operator and it all went very smoothly. We got to see Fort Charlotte, pirates of the Caribbean location, Dark view falls and there was time to stop at a beach for half an hour on the way back (but we felt it would have been a bit rushed so went straight back to the ship after the falls). We got lunch and a drink in a local bar included. Fred was very knowledgable and friendly, a very nice man.
