This experience was really interesting and lots of fun. Our host picked us up from hotel and introduced us to the bamboo experience team. We were provided with quite a bit of information at first, about Lao culture and bamboo. We then had a go at weaving a coaster with bamboo. Lots of fun. Then onto the cooking part of the experience. This was brilliant as our guide helped us prepare several dishes. Very tasty. After lunch we had a go at some dance moves before being taken back to our hotel. As a small group tour this was very personal and this added to the enjoyment. Thanks to all the bamboo experience team. Well done.

Very positive travel experience around bamboo in a bucolic setting with different workshops, basketry and kitchen. Thank you for the welcome of the two very friendly animators and Madame "Pai" for her cooking skills and her smile.

Really enjoyable time with extremely friendly guide and staff and informative talk on bamboo and its many uses... practical task in creating a bamboo coaster (a lot harder than it looked but guys on hand to help us out, with encouragement ).Great outdoor cooking lesson and some very tasty food produced, especially the marinated fish in banana leaf). Stunning views from a beautiful bamboo house. Peaceful morning!! Finished off with a bit of dancing between long bamboo sticks.

We had alovely morning here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and it was a great learning experience delivered in a fun way. The food we cooked was fresh and tasty., with sticky rice made in the traditional way and steamed fish cooked in banana leaves. Even made our own little coasters to bring home. Thoroughly recommend

This was a great thing to do in Luang Prabang. We learned so much about the importance of bamboo to the Lao people and the myriad of uses it has for them. The weaving was fun and the cooking class is probably the best one we’ve done. Traditional food cooked my traditional methods and everything was delicious. Somsay and his team have put together a really entertaining experience. Thanks so much!
