This Bartolome Island tour includes a long navigation time as the island is far away, but it is definitely woth it as this tour offers so much more than just a visit and you will be stunned by the breathtaking view, the iconic postcard picture of Galapagos.

What To Expect
Bartolome
Set off on an unforgettable full-day adventure to Bartolome Island, departing from Itabaca Canal. The scenic boat ride takes approximately two hours and brings you to one of the most iconic spots in the Galápagos, located northwest of Santa Cruz Island. Famous for its dramatic views and the striking Pinnacle Rock, Barholome offers some of the most picturesque landscapes in the archipelago. A wooden boardwalk trail leads you to the summit of an extinct volcano (almost 400 wooden steps, please make sure to where comfortable shoes) — where panoramic views of lava fields, nearby islands, and the turquoise sea make the hike well worth the effort. You will be rewarded with the most spectacular view of the Galapagos, the iconic postcard picture landscape that never gets boring, no matter how many times you come to visit this place.
Sullivan Bay
After your hike, and after delicious and freshly prepared lunch on board, enjoy a guided snorkeling session at Sullivan Bay, located on neighboring Santiago Island (or near Bartolomé Beach) just a short ride away. Explore crystal-clear waters teeming with spectacular marine life — keep an eye out for Galápagos penguins, sea turtles, rays, white-tip reef sharks, and a variety of colorful fish swimming in the shallow reef as well as beautiful sea stars. As an alternative, you can also just snorkel a bit from the beach or relax on the beautiful white sand beach.

5.00The tour was well organized and comfortable. The boat and crew that took us to Bartolomé were excellent. The guide was clear and accurate in his explanations, from the exit from the port to the exploratory walk on the island. The place is beautiful and worth seeing. We saw different kinds of birds, a penguin, lots of fish and iguanas. The team made it a matter to travel around the area to find the animals that were around and make our experience unforgettable. Contact with the company was easy, and were always available for questions. I'm vegan, and I got some really good food during lunch. The only reservation is that they didn't send a wetsuit to my husband, as agreed, and he had to rent one on the boat.

5.00I was fortunate enough recently to do multiple tours around the Galápagos Islands arranged by Guiding Galápagos and everything was perfectly organized. The tours were all excellent, using very good boats and very knowledgeable and friendly guides. The communication and assistance from both Felipe and Omar was first rate! They even went the extra mile each morning to find and introduce you to the guide for the day to make sure there were no issues and that you were comfortable before leaving and again come to meet you at the end of the tour to check everything was ok. If you’re looking for some great tours around the Galápagos Islands you really don’t need to look any further!
