Mutianyu Great Wall
The Great Wall was first built during the Northern Qi Dynasty (550–577 AD) and later reinforced over 600 years ago in the early Ming Dynasty as a defense against Mongol invasions. This particular section was restored in 1988 and stretches 2.7 kilometers, featuring 20 watchtowers. • Convenient pickup from any location in downtown Beijing, followed by a 1.5-hour scenic drive to the Great Wall. • Ascent: A shuttle bus takes you to the mountain base, then a 5-minute cable car ride brings you up to the Wall. • Enjoy a guided walk along the Wall for approximately 2.5 hours, exploring its history, defense systems, and the best photo spots. • For the descent, you walk down in 20 minutes. • Drop-off at any location back in the city to conclude your day.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting the Great Wall of China was a dream come true. From the moment I laid eyes on its winding path across the mountains, I was speechless. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the history behind this wonder is humbling. We hiked a less crowded section, which made the experience even more memorable. The climb can be challenging in parts, but every step is worth it. Highly recommend going early in the morning to avoid crowds and the midday heat. Bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t forget your camera. An unforgettable experience that everyone should have at least once in their lifetime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Asolutely marvellous. Liu, the guide, is very very nice, very considerate, very well educated. his English is super and he has wonderful stories and he is very knowledgeable on History. He smiles and he knows where to go and how to avoid queues and the short cuts. Amazing. We very very strongly recommend him for small or big groups. Highly recommended. Of course, the Great Wall was amazing but even much better thanks to our guide.

We had a great trip to Great Wall! A driver came in advance and was very supportive! We drive directly to the entrance where the lifts are going, very convenient! The vehicle was superb. By our request we made a small stop for a lunch as we finished with the wall earlier and we stopped for a small local tea tasting. We enjoyed our trip!
