The flight option is exactly why I booked with Booking-Tours, and it delivered. You get the Petra experience without the long overland travel, and the schedule felt thoughtfully built. The guide shared interesting context without talking nonstop, and the group pacing was respectful. Booking-Tours felt like a company that’s done this route many times and refined every step. I’d recommend them to friends visiting Tel Aviv who want a high-impact day trip.

What stood out most was how Booking-Tours communicated. No vague messages, no confusion, no guessing where to go next. They were clear about timing, what to bring, and what to expect throughout the day. Petra was incredible, but the whole experience was better because the company handled the logistics professionally. If you’re the kind of traveler who hates surprises (except the good kind), this tour is a great fit.

I’ve done tours where you feel ignored the moment they get your payment. This was the opposite. Booking-Tours had clear pre-tour info, a smooth schedule, and a team that was actually reachable when needed. The flight option made the day feel efficient, and Petra was stunning beyond expectations. If you want a dependable operator for a complicated day trip, I’d recommend Booking-Tours.

Worth the money for the flight route. Yes, it’s not the cheapest way to see Petra, but it’s the best use of time if you’re based in Tel Aviv. Booking-Tours kept everything organized and communicated clearly, which matters a lot on a complex day. The guide was knowledgeable, but also really good at managing a group without being rude. I felt like I got a full Petra experience in a single day.

Petra was a dream, logistics were smooth. The moment you step into the Siq, you forget the early start. Booking-Tours handled the boring parts (timing, transfers, coordination) so we could focus on the experience. Our guide was friendly and didn’t treat us like a checklist, which made the day feel personal even in a group. I’d book with them again because the company felt reliable.

Clear expectations, delivered. What I liked most is that Booking-Tours didn’t overpromise. They explained what’s included, what isn’t, and what you need to prepare, and then they actually followed through. The day is long, but it’s comfortable and efficient, and the flight makes it feel like a premium experience. I came back tired but happy, not exhausted and annoyed.

Professional company, no chaos. I’m usually anxious about tours with flights and border logistics, but Booking-Tours were very calm and organized. Pickup and timing were accurate, the communications were clear, and the team was responsive when we had a quick question. Petra itself is unbelievable, but what made it easy was not having to guess what happens next. You can tell this company has real operational experience.

Was at TLV at the group meeting spot (after taking to the lady at the information center asking where to meet), called TravelPro for assistances, no help. Was asked if at “Departures” (3rd floor) at the airport, which we were. No one advised that “Domestic departures” are on the first floor (the marquee only states “arrivals”, NO information on there being Domestic departures). We finally figured out about the domestic departures- but we missed the plane. NO information anywhere or from TravelPro about the exact place to meet the flight. One star is too much considering the lack of help and proper information.

Too expensive and time consuming for being 3 hours in site. You are able to see just a small portion of Petra.as stated in the The tour withTrip advisor was more expensive than with other companies. Specially when we crossed customs. There is guy collecting money from travelers that bought the tour with different companies. He has a list and collects the visa and crossing fees. While most of the travelers paid $75 per person, I was charged $140 per person - I was amazed and very mad at Trip Advisor. I thought they were being fair, but it wasn't. The guy told me that different companies have different agreements. The worst part is the first stop for services - a tourist trap store just outside of Petra. Beautiful view, but NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE. There are no prices on the products and they quote in jordanian currency. When you ask for the rate they tell you it is slightly higher than a Dollar. We chose to buy a small brass camel and a lamp - shoulf have cost 10-15 dollars in any market. they charged me $126.00. No way to complain, you will never be back in that store.

The tour organizer put the wrong gender when making flight reservations for me so I had great difficulty checking in at the airport at 6am in the morning. There was no one I could contact to figure out why the airline couldn't find my reservation, though fortunately we figured it out in the end. Petra is definitely worth seeing and overall we got a great experience there. However, the tour was not well designed so we only had limited time there. This can be avoid had we stay overnight in Petra the night before or leave early around am rather 9am for it in the morning. Although we did enjoy the overnight stay in tents at Wadi Rum, there was simply too much rush the next day. For those travelers who'd like to take their time to enjoy Petra, this isn't the best option. You may go for the 3-day tour with 2 overnight stays but personally I think it's a bit too much. It'd be great if the tour organizers redesign the 2-day tour to allow 2-3 more hours in Petra for those who have limited time for the attraction.
