Not enough time to visit all of Krakow’s must-see places? On this tour, you'll visit two of Poland's most important UNESCO World Heritage sites Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine — in one day. Your day will start early, but this way you will manage to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration camp, and explore the Mine, and be back in Krakow by dinner time.

Please note that the maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed to carry on the Museum grounds is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can always leave your belongings inside the bus which will be parked nearby.
Please note that this tour is not available on: 25th of December, 1st of January, Easter Sunday and March of the Living Day.
Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. There are around 800 steps on the whole route in the Salt mine. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift.
Temperature in the Salt Mine is approximately 14 degrees C (57 degrees F), please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

Please note that admission tickets to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum are personalized. Each participant is required to provide their full name as it appears on their official ID during the booking process. Any errors in names or failure to provide this information at least 24 hours before the tour may result in denied entry to the museum.

What To Expect
Mr.Shuttle Tours & Transfers Krakow
The pickups are provided between 6:00 and 7:30 depending on your accommodation and our schedules. The pickup time is always confirmed by text and email the day before the tour. The tour is operated in a group of a maximum of 30 people. During the trip, you will watch a documentary movie about the history of the Nazi concentration camps.
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Firstly, You will be taken to Auschwitz I, where you will join an English tour – provided by the museum’s guide – for about 2 hours. After that, we will transfer you to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, about 2 km away. You will spend there about one hour with the same guide. After Camp Auschwitz II-Birkenau, you will have time to eat our freshly prepared lunchboxes (which include chicken pasta salad, sandwich, sweet bar, fruit, and water). We also provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten, and dairy-free options. Please add a remark in your booking if you have any special requirements. Please note that the tickets are titular. Make sure the information in the booking is correct. Change of this data is possible for an additional fee paid to the supplier.

5.00This experience was absolutely amazing. We came to Poland to specifically do the tour as we’re both Jewish in heritage pick up was on time. Our driver was extremely friendly and even suggested places to go after tour. The tour guy provided was absolutely amazing as well we learned so much on this tour highly highly recommended.

5.00It’s a very good day out and very sad but informative we had Mr Shuttle as our driver and guide Thomas was our guy and we can’t praise him enough he was awesome. Great information clear instructions and a very nice guy. Some suggestions before the trip to Auschwitz if it hot you are the outside a lot bring a hat at least. Salt mine was unreal well worth the trip.

3.00Review of Auschwitz, Birkenau & Wieliczka Salt Mine Tour Overall, the tour was good and well-organized in terms of schedule. Transportation picked us up from our hotel promptly at 5:50 AM, which I appreciated. Our first stops were Auschwitz and then Birkenau. The guides were knowledgeable, but one major downside was the lack of bathroom breaks. From the time we were picked up until about 11 AM, there was no scheduled stop. I had to specifically ask, and while I was away, the group continued, forcing me to catch up. In the afternoon, we visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The tour itself was interesting and worth seeing. However, the organization at the end was very poor. The guide simply left us underground without clear instructions on how to exit. We ended up wandering for about 15 minutes before finding the elevator. Once outside, all we were told was to “take a right and go straight” to find the bus—another 15-minute walk on our own. We barely made it back in time, but four people in our group missed the bus entirely. Even after we mentioned how difficult it was to find, the staff seemed unconcerned. Finally, we were told we’d be dropped back at our hotel, but instead, we were left in a square and had to walk another 0.7 miles to get back. Overall, there was far more unnecessary walking than expected due to poor communication and planning. While the sites themselves were powerful and the pick-up was prompt, the lack of bathroom breaks, unclear directions, and inconvenient drop-off were disappointing. A few small changes in organization and guest consideration could make this a much better experience.
