Not enough time to visit all of Krakow’s must-see places? On this tour, you'll visit two of Poland's most important UNESCO World Heritage sites Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine — in one day. Your day will start early, but this way you will manage to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration camp, and explore the Mine, and be back in Krakow by dinner time.

Please note that the maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed to carry on the Museum grounds is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can always leave your belongings inside the bus which will be parked nearby.

Please note that this tour is not available on: 25th of December, 1st of January, Easter Sunday and March of the Living Day.

Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. There are around 800 steps on the whole route in the Salt mine. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift.

Temperature in the Salt Mine is approximately 14 degrees C (57 degrees F), please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

Please note that admission tickets to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum are personalized. Each participant is required to provide their full name as it appears on their official ID during the booking process. Any errors in names or failure to provide this information at least 24 hours before the tour may result in denied entry to the museum.

If you are travelling with other passengers but have made separate bookings, please inform us in your booking and provide the full name of the lead passenger so we can try to assign you to the same group. Please note that we cannot guarantee that passengers with separate bookings will travel together.

What To Expect

Mr.Shuttle Tours & Transfers Krakow

The pickups are provided between 6:00 and 7:30 depending on your accommodation and our schedules. The pickup time is always confirmed by text and email the day before the tour. The tour is operated in a group of a maximum of 30 people. During the trip, you will watch a documentary movie about the history of the Nazi concentration camps.

Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau

Firstly, You will be taken to Auschwitz I, where you will join an English tour – provided by the museum’s guide – for about 2 hours. After that, we will transfer you to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, about 2 km away. You will spend there about one hour with the same guide. After Camp Auschwitz II-Birkenau, you will have time to eat our freshly prepared lunchboxes (which include chicken pasta salad, sandwich, sweet bar, fruit, and water). We also provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten, and dairy-free options. Please add a remark in your booking if you have any special requirements. Please note that the tickets are titular. Make sure the information in the booking is correct. Change of this data is possible for an additional fee paid to the supplier.

Fabulous communication from booking, all the way through to pick up. This is a long tour but was so well organised by both venues and our driver Norbert. Everything ran smoothly and I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Shuttle.

Myself and my partner used Me shuttle in December 2025. We booked the day trip to auschwitz and the saltmine tour. We booked vies booking.com and paid £163 al in for both of us. This included being picked up from our apartment a packed lunch and drop off in the evening. Our guide was fantastic making sure everything was seamless at both sites. I could not fault this company at all they were amazing from start to finish we had a fantastic. I definitely would recommend them to anyone and would use the service again if back in krakow.

It was such a moving tour of Auschwitz and birkenau. Our guide was phenomenal! We also enjoyed the experience at the salt mines. The Mr Shuttle was a clean, really nice luxury van. The lunch was also very good.

This trip is amazing, we had a great experience from the start. Communication was brilliant, driver Dominic was lovely. When we arrived the process was seemless. Michael our tour guide was so informative, and his tone of voice and explanation made our experience great. Wished I could have recorded his commentary to relive the experience and reflect after. As so much information to take in. The salt mines were also a great experience. You would not believe what can be created by hand and 135 foot down. This is a much do tour and the experience was amazing thank you

Very well organised , regular text messages 24 hours out giving pick up details very reassuring , collect from hotel on time, ticket given prior to setting off, and driver coordinated the meeting with the guide. who was excellent. Lunch prior to travelling to Salt Mines, the guide was very informative and also very funny. back to Krakow for 4.30pm trip of 11 hours. A challenge to do the two sites in one day, but a must if only visiting Krakow for a couple of days as we were.
