Not what I thought and very disappointed. The visit to the Orangutan Rehab centre was a money making grab at best. Our guide kept stopping and talking about his family and by the time we reached the outdoor nursery it was packed. A single Orangutan and 500+ people crammed into two tea viewing rooms. Next the stage 4 interact in the wild. As wild as a visit to the Pavillon in KL. Again after stopping to talk hundreds passed us. Viewing was minimal at best. This is not nature tourism. It is a money making machine giving the customer minimal experience. Please advertise as such. Coming from a nature tourism background this was horrible to see. -100/10. The city tour was better and our guide tried really hard. Highlight Buddhist temple.

So nice to see a mixture of wild and sheltered Uran utang, again assisted by our wonderful Guide Hassan. We have had a lot of help from his advice and we have tried to give us the most amazing experience and we succeeded! We also went to Sun Bear's shelter. We decided this at the last minute and our Guide made sure everything went smoothly and we could do this trip as well. Definitely recommended to go here!

It’s a yes! Bernadette was great in arranging our transfers in Kota Kinabalu. We booked our own flight, and when Air Asia was delayed two hours we thought our day would be ruined. Instead Bernadette coordinated with our Guide Jackie who showed up with a smile and driver at Sandakan airport! It was an incredible day seeing the orangutans, small bears and proboscis monkeys! Memories of a lifetime and fantastic value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
