A diverse range well knows Kartli region of cultural sites, including several historical, cultural, and landscapes. Since the first half of the III millennium BC, the area dates from classical to medieval, including and altered several times. The region was the home of gods and their earthly embodiment – priests, chiefs, and kings. Every layer of the ground keeps a memory of epochs. The region was standing over the crossroads of cultures. The significance of this arterial road was connecting east and west. It’ rocky road still preserves a clear trace of wheeled transport moving here over centuries. The region was, from time to time, ruled by Mithraism or Zoroastrianism. Sovereign priests performed pagan rituals here. On this altar, they offered sacrifice, glorified female divinity, lighted holly fire. To be continued during the tour.

Niko, our guide, is a very knowledgeable, calm, good guy. Great for conversation and filled us with a great amount of information. Just a good dude. You can tell that he quietly has a passion for history, which, if you're booking this tour, you would as well. The amount of history on this your is incredible. Our driver, George, was prompt but safe. Got us where we needed to be, when needed, but safely. Well done.

This trip was fantastic. It was my first day in Georgia and this is a great way to start. Several stops highlighting the history and beauty of Georgia. Our guide Tako was extremely knowledgeable in all things Georgia. She gave plenty of structure combined with free time to get the most out of this day trip. The pickup was smooth as this is a professional tour company that knows what it’s doing. Highly recommended.

This was my first day in Georgia and what a great introduction. Our guide Tako couldn’t not have been better. She was knowledgeable, passionate and very focused on making sure we were all comfortable. We started by exploring the caves at Uplistsikhe which was fascinating and had amazing views. Did some wine tasting, then on to lunch in Gorilla which did not disappoint. When we showed up the table was set with feast fit for a group twice our size. Great selection of delicious Georgian food. Then did a walkthrough of the Stalin Museum, which was historically fascinating. Finally we did a stops at cathedral in and monestary around the city of Mtskheka. So much crammed into. Great day.
