A diverse range well knows Kartli region of cultural sites, including several historical, cultural, and landscapes. Since the first half of the III millennium BC, the area dates from classical to medieval, including and altered several times. The region was the home of gods and their earthly embodiment – priests, chiefs, and kings. Every layer of the ground keeps a memory of epochs. The region was standing over the crossroads of cultures. The significance of this arterial road was connecting east and west. It’ rocky road still preserves a clear trace of wheeled transport moving here over centuries. The region was, from time to time, ruled by Mithraism or Zoroastrianism. Sovereign priests performed pagan rituals here. On this altar, they offered sacrifice, glorified female divinity, lighted holly fire. To be continued during the tour.

A superb tour! Our guide Toko was exceptional knowledgeable and provided great history details for all the places we visited. The views were exceptional, the church and monastery are magnificent. The Stalin Museum was fascinating and Toko gave a great summary of the life of Stalin. Excellent tour.

We had a perfect tour to Uplistsikhe, Gori, Mtskheta and Jvari with our tour guide Niko. He was a fantastic guide full of knowledge and ready to answer any questions. We had set menu for lunch in a local restaurant in Gori. Really recommend to take the set menu and try different dishes from Georgian cuisine. Thanks to Gamarjoba tours and our tour guide Niko for the perfect tour. I strongly recommend...

Shota was an amazing guide and very passionate about his work. He was knowledgeable but also knows how to work with people and accommodate different needs. The tour itself was well organized, ran smoothly and allowed us to see incredible places. It is a long day though, and the caves are not fit for people with problems walking up stairs etc (I had a knee injury and couldn't make it up there but knew so in advance. Shota was very accommodating of it and did his best to allow me to enjoy the park without having to exhaust myself).

Anna was an absolutely amazing guide, very knowledgeable and always happy to explain everything in detail. I really liked the Stalin Museum, they haven’t changed much since it was built in the 1950s.
