First, have a stroll in the oldest private garden in Korea. This garden has attracted an array families, friends, couples and photographers frequently to explore the variety of festivals held throughout the year.
Afterwards, visit Nami Island, famous for its beautiful tree lined roads, you can enjoy the island by walking at your own pace or rent a bike and cycle around. The island was used as the filming location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”.
Then take a scenic ride on the rail bike and enjoy the beauty of Han River at Gangchon Railbike, an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track.
This tour includes entrance fees and transportation in an air-conditioned coach/minivan as well as a small briefing from the knowledgeable staff.

3.00I liked our guide Laura, very much. She was very engaging with everyone. Sweet and funny. We did did the Garden of Morning Calm (highly recommend, simply stunning), Nami Island (I wasn't sure about this one, but it was beautiful and we caught it just before the leaves were coming off) and Railbike. I thought I'd like the rail bike the best, but now I wish I skipped it. You had to queue up with dozens of other tour groups and wait for 45 min before boarding the rail bike. You don't really have peddle control, peddles basically spin and you're just coasting on the rail. The scenery wasnt that impressive. But the worst part is, after the 30 minute 'ride' they plop everyone on a holding platform for about 30 minutes, and it was freezing. They had a warming tent, but I thought it was a huge waste of time sitting there like cattle, doing nothing. Eventually a train thing picks you up to take you to the parking lot. A very corny experience. If it's summer, you will roast. Skip.

Everything was so well organised - from faultless pick-ups and transportation to the places and the guide herself. I don’t think I’ve met a guide who showed so much care through every word she said. Laura was a joy! And so were the must-see places. Highly recommend!

5.00I would highly recommend this tour. The Garden of Morning calm was beautiful and peaceful. Next we headed to Nami island. You take a 5 min ferry to Nami Island which was incredible with the autumn foliage. Plus if you area K-drama follower, Winter Sonata was filmed here and there are a couple of tribute spots. (Of note before taking the ferry, we were given options re lunch). The one personal recommendation I would have considered differently was that we had a choice of eating at a restaurant together with the group or you could choose to go to Nami Island individually on your own as there are also good places to eat there. We chose to eat with the group but found the food to be just ok but not that special as there was only one main choice (its fine if you like to cook stir fried chicken at your table, and you can choose your degree of spicyness plus you can order sides. Most people seemed content with lunch (but I would have preferred to go separately to Nami island, have more time on there, plus have more individual food choices at other restaurants (again we were given a choice and this was my own preference). Otherwise this tour was great and the tour guide Jonathan was wonderful, kind, clear about time limitations to keep us on track, he spoke great English and he was funny too. We also had a great time on the rail bikes- it wasn’t too difficult (fairly flat).

4.00Rail bike and Nami were not exciting and not worth the trip. GArden of Morning Calm was nice. Guide was organized and kept everyone together. She made sure we were on time at each destination given the amount of crowd and traffic
