First, have a stroll in the oldest private garden in Korea. This garden has attracted an array families, friends, couples and photographers frequently to explore the variety of festivals held throughout the year.
Afterwards, visit Nami Island, famous for its beautiful tree lined roads, you can enjoy the island by walking at your own pace or rent a bike and cycle around. The island was used as the filming location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”.
Then take a scenic ride on the rail bike and enjoy the beauty of Han River at Gangchon Railbike, an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track.
This tour includes entrance fees and transportation in an air-conditioned coach/minivan as well as a small briefing from the knowledgeable staff.

In winter, the tour departs later to visit the Garden of Morning Calm Light Festival.
Nami Island
Nami Island: Famous for its beautiful tree lined roads, you can enjoy the island by walking at your own pace or rent a bike and cycle around. The island is full of attractive landscapes and was used as the filming location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”.

5.00We enjoyed this day trip, taking a break from the hustle and bustle of Seoul City. The Garden of Morning Call was an absolute joy for wandering through the many themed botanical gardens. We enjoyed lunch at a local, authentic Korean restaurant before taking the ferry to Nami Island. The island is whimsical, scenic, and very well presented. The final stop was a fun rail bike ride. Our guide, Shana, did a wonderful job. Her on-phone app/communications were very helpful. Our only suggestion would be the additional use of the video screen at the front of the bus to better facilitate the communication for the day (as there was a-lot of information/options presented verbally). Well done Shana!!!

5.00Tour Story and guide Shana provided a great day trip experience outside of Seoul. Tri-lingual Shana (Korean, Chinese, English) led our 33 person group with a fantastic day at Garden of Morning Calm, tasty lunch before Nami Island, and closed up with Rail Bikes for a scenic day! She and bus driver used a spacious, comfortable bus while managing the day trip. It was a Saturday, so some heavy traffic led to a full 12 hour tour. Shana even gave us all a lesson in Korean language basics to help pass some time. Just a great day. If you’re in Seoul go with Shana and Tour Story!

5.00This is a great way to experience the Garden of Morning Calm, Nami Island, and Gangchon Rail Park! They are a far distance from Seoul so it helps to have a guided experience that still allows you to have free time. Lucia, my tour guide, was very attentive and I appreciate her!
