The Garden of Morning Calm: Enjoy a stroll at the oldest private garden in Korea. This garden has attracted an array families, friends, couples and photographers frequently to explore the variety of festivals held throughout the year. In winter, the tour departs later to visit the Garden of Morning Calm Light Festival.

3.00The entire trip was raining. Our tour started a little late as some members arrived late. Busy traffic due to Chuseok prolonged our travel time. We arrived at the Garden of Morning Calm around 11:30am till 1:30pm. Traveled another hours or so to Nami Island. We spent an hour at lunch then took a ferry to the island. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see & enjoy much due to the heavy rain. My advice is to go on a dry day.

5.00John was a wonderful guide. He really made us all feel welcome and shared plenty of knowledge with us on Korea and the places we visited; you can tell he is passionate about what he does! We had a delicious lunch per his recommendation and enjoyed our time at both the Garden of Morning Calm and Nami Island!

5.00My mom and I had an unforgettable experience on the Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm Tour. Our guide, Shana was wonderful. She is fluent in 3 languages and seamlessly bounced from one to another ensuring everyone was informed and entertained. We really felt taken care of by her; she was ahead of us to show the way, she made sure we all had opportunities for her to take our picture at the best photo spots. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed a nice stroll through it all. Nami Island had so much to do! We took the mini train ride and also the Story Book tour. We are tired but very happy we did this tour.

5.00I normally don't do guided tours since I like to explore on my own, but when looking at visiting the garden of morning calm and nami island I realized that they're not the most convenient to get to and a tour would probably make the most sense. Our tour guide was great, gave some explanation of stuff so we'd have a bit of info going in but also gave us time to explore on our own before grouping back. In terms of both sites, they were really nice. I would recommend booking on a weekday if possible, less crowded.
