What To Expect
Costiera Amalfitana
The Amalfi Coast is a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. It’s a popular holiday destination, with sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages.
Li Galli
The Sirenusas, also known as the Gallos, are an archipelago of little islands off the Amalfi Coast of Italy between Isle of Capri and 6 km southwest of Province of Salerno's Positano, to which it is administratively attached. They are part of the Campanian Archipelago. They were owned by Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev, who spent the last years of his life there. From the bus you will have a view on the archipelango "floating" on the blue sea of the Gulf.

3.00Apparently, the trip's organization was quite haphazard and poorly planned. Although the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, there was a lack of communication with the participants. There was a change in the itinerary, which forced us to take the ferry from Positano to Amalfi, which wasn't bad at all and was a great experience. However, at the end of the day, the longest and least scenic route was chosen for the return trip from Ravello to Sorrento, the one that passes through Pompeii. This decision impeded us from appreciating all those coastal towns illuminated at night, especially during the Christmas season. I also think that a stop in Atrani would have greatly enriched the Amalfi Coast experience.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our day traveling to these three destinations. Our tour guide, Roberto, was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The shuttle driver did an excellent job navigating the narrow roads. The views were beautiful both on the road and on the boat ride to Positano. We enjoyed visiting Amalfi and Positano, but the day we went, a cruise ship arrived which made our visit very crowded. We loved our last stop in Ravello a smaller, less crowded town. We definitely recommend this tour for newcomers such as ourselves to learn about the history of this beautiful area.

5.00This was the easiest way to get a taste of the amalfi coast without having to handle all the logistics of bus/ferry tickets, or worry about driving and parking yourself. It was lovely to relax and enjoy all the views on the drive, with stops for photos at the highlight places. In each town, our guide showed us the main places to see briefly, with some explanation, and then allowed us free time to explore and shop on our own. He also arranged a boat tour for us to get some views from the water. For our first time in the area, it was so nice to get a sample of each place so that we know what to focus on or where to stay in the future. We only had two nights in Sorrento and three full days, so this day being one we were able to maximize our time and also still see Herculaneum/pompeii and capri on the other two days. Would definitely recommend this tour.

4.00Locations visited were excellent. We really enjoyed the drive along the coast and the ferry trip from Positano to Amalfi. Unfortunately a lot of shops and restaurants were closed in November. Our guide Roberto was nice.
