I have been fortunate enough to travel many places around the world and take these type of tours. This tour to Death Valley was by far my favorite- everything was wonderful, especially our tour guide Andrew. Andrew took such great care of us and he was so knowledgeable about the history, geography, biology, and even some astronomy… and where all of the best bathrooms were in the park! We were picked up from our hotel in Vegas, the. Started the couple hour drive to Death Valley. We made a stop at a convenience store where Andrew topped off the gas tank and got ice for the water he brought us. We then went by an abandoned town, drove through the amazing hills, took photos at the national park sign and then went up over 5000 feet above sea level to Dante’s Peak where we could do a quick hike and see amazing views of the salt flat below. We then had lunch at the Ranch in Death Vally and did some quick shopping. We then drove to the Badwater Basin salt flat and was able to walk out in the flat, which had some water in it at the time. We then went to the artist pallet, photos do not do the colors justice of this place! We then went to an overlook to watch the sun set over the mountain range and salt flat below. We then went to an area for star gazing- Andrew was able to capture the most amazing nighttime time lapse photos for us! The entire day was absolutely perfect and Andrew’s attentiveness, knowledge, and kindness were such a bit part of making this my favorite tour experience!

Jason is very enthusiastic, upbeat, and knowledgeable. He talked a lot about each point of interest and kept us on our schedule. It's hard to say which part was the best. We first stopped at Dante's view which was breathtaking. We walked into Lake Manly at Badwater Basin, stopped to photograph the superbloom, explored the Artist Palette, watched the sun as it set at Zabriskie Point, and saw the stars at a campsite. We even saw a few shooting stars. All-in-all, it was quite the experience!

Our tour guide, Andrew, was an all-star! He was so fun and friendly and a great, safe driver. The itinerary he took us on covered a lot of Death Valley and the stargazing at the end was incredible. Thanks so much!

It is a lot of driving and walking. The night sky was beautiful, the Painters pallette was mind blowing.

Great experience. Takes about two hours to get there with a bathroom stop abt an hr in. Went in Feb. so it was chilly up top and the sun is very strong so plan for both hot, cold and strong sun. The driver was wonderful, taking all kinds of fun pics of each of the groups. We had 3 solo ladies and 1 solo man in our tour, so if you are solo, know that it's typical. We got lucky with no moon, no clouds, and it was an incredible night to stargaze. I plan to go back, as you don't stay long at each stop & I like to take more time & maybe do a smaller hike but this was a wonderful intro to Death Valley!
