Join Our Delhi Kabul Cooking Class! Discover Hauz Rani, a cultural and lively district in Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi. This neighborhood is a vibrant mix of cultures, home to many Afghan refugees who bring their rich traditions and delicious cuisine, adding a unique Afghan touch to the community. Faramarz's family has called Malviya Nagar home for years, building strong connections with neighbors and locals, making it feel like one big family. This sense of warmth and togetherness makes Hauz Rani a special part of Delhi. Start your experience with a guided tour of the local vegetable market (evenings only). Then, enjoy a hands-on cooking class tailored to your comfort level, followed by an authentic Indian and Afghan meal shared with the host family. Note: The menu may change based on seasonal and market availability. For single-person bookings, only the basic menu is provided, without dessert. 5.00We were welcomed into the home of a beautiful family. We met parents and two daughters. We were rushed for time due to having to catch a flight and they were so accommodating to our needs. The food was amazing as was the forthcoming information they provided regarding life in India. Very interesting and informative tour and I highly recommend this tour. Can’t recommend enough.

5.00This was a great Cooking Class, and changed my approach to Indian cooking. I have tried to learn Indian cooking from books and television shows but it never really worked until I had hands on instructions in peoples homes. In this class, I learnt to make a classic spinach dish, eggplant and tomato, and biryani it was very helpful that we learnt two different types of biryani one chicken and one vegetable, so I can make an excellent dinner for my vegetarian friends. Since coming back home, I have made the spinach and eggplant dishes repeatedly and they are extremely popular. The family were very warm and kind and I just loved the whole experience. Recommended.

5.00My dear friend, Faramarz, recommended me this beautiful experience and it was more than worth it! I honestly had THE best time Zareen and Marjan. The mother-daughter cooking class was definitely one of my greatest highlights while being in India. Both of them put so much love in this culinary class and at the same time a lot of knowledge. You’ll learn all the recipes from scratch while receiving superinteresting insights into all the spices and the Afghan-Indian culture!! 11/10 would recommend!! 5.00I chose this experience to see a different part of Delhi, experience the spice market and spend time bonding with locals over food-- this experience did not disappoint. Fara and Marjan were friendly and accommodating hosts and their parents were genuine sweet people. Would highly recommend if you're looking for an wholesome experience and cooking knowledge from an "aunty" figure!

5.00Had a most delightful evening with Marjaan and her family. They collected me from my drop off point and we walked through the local market meeting and greeting people there. Each step of the recipe was explained and I got to help with stirring and frying! I was contacted earlier in the day to ask if I had any allergies or taste preferences which was good. The food was excellent and the family could not have been more hospitable or welcoming even helping me hail a auto to get home again.

5.00Amazing food and wonderful people! Absolutely an experience I would repeat or gift to others. We were welcomed with Afghan chai and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. As someone that lives in Afghanistan, I can assure the food was 100% genuine and a joy for the soul. We definitively have new friends in Delhi now!

5.00The afghani food was excellent, she walked us through every part of cooking and even I could follow along as a novice!! The street food tour was also really tasty got a good sample of Indian snacks. Would recommend!
