What To Expect
Delphi
The most famous oracle of ancient times was founded at the foothills of Mt Parnassos, at the "Navel (Omphalos) of the Earth", where the two eagles of Zeus encountered. There Apollo, the god of light, delivered his oracles through his priestess, Pythia. The Greeks addressed Apollo in every important moment of their history; they showed their gratitude by erecting great monuments along the Sacred Way heading to the god's temple. The Christians seized the operation of the sanctuary in the 4th c. AD.
Treasury of the Athenians
The treasure was erected by Athens in the late 6th/early 5th c. BC. It is associated with the establishment of democracy in the city, as well as with the victory against the Persians at Marathon. Inside the building military trophies and votive offerings were kept.

1.00Unfortunately, we found the app not helpful at all. The texts were too focused on historical facts and names and we were unable to get a good overall impression of the facility. The narrative was soporific and didn’t make you want to do more, as we had done before with Olympia with VR Tour. In addition, no VR feature worked, so neither could I detect things via camera nor could I look around in the 3D representations by tilting the smartphone.

5.00Full audio guide: provides information about the monument being viewed and also adds a supplementary information section if you want to hear more information. The only thing that would improve is the first audio, the intro, as it is brief and does not contextualize well. The others, fine. 3D recreations help to better understand the archaeological site.
