What To Expect
Jodhpur
Your tour starts with pickup in Jodhpur around 2 pm Or 2.30 PM at your hotel, or the airport, train station or bus station. Travel by private car to Osian where you have the chance to visit the Sachiya Mata Temple.(No Guide Provided) After taking in the temple, head to the starting point for the camel safari. The camel ride is considered a peak experience in Rajasthan. Expect to riding the camel in the Thar Desert. Stay to watch the skies and sands change colors during the sunset hour, then return to your private vehicle for transfer back to Jodhpur

2.00I probably made a mistake with this one. It was an expensive car ride for 30 mins and 30 mins on a camel back. The two young gentleman that did the ride are kind and nice and I can see that this is important for their livelihoods but I am not sure what share of the what we paid went to them. I thought it was not worth the money and bordering on a tourist trap type experience. I would ask lots of questions and be sure of what you are getting. My advice would be to not book this tour for the price as you can find better offerings through local providers ad a fraction of the cost. If you want to experience riding a camel for an hour, then yes do it. Otherwise I would give it a miss.

4.00Our guide was lovely and his family were welcoming. The food was amazing. We would have liked the ride to go further into the desert and wouldn’t take the jeep experience again as it literally just meant we drove in a jeep back to the starting point. The trip was well organised with transfers
