3.00Went on a private tour booked through Qatar Holidays. We were picked up by our guide who couldn’t speak English so other than each other we had no one to speak to or ask questions of. It was interesting as there were loads of others ‘sand surfers’ chewing up the desert but uninformative because we couldn’t communicate. We were taken to a sort of holiday camp for refreshments but there was no choice, just a small bottle of water and a disgusting mango drink so full of sugar… the guide then sped back to pump up his tyres so no chance of a sunset photo. All in all disappointing
