Join us on a thrilling 4x4 Jeep tour through the Sierra's, as we take you deep into the wilderness on an old logging road dating back to the 1800s. Our experienced tour guide will drive you to Devils Peak, which is now called Signal Peak and stands at a towering 6,900 ft elevation, where you will witness a stunning sunset over the mountains.

Once the sun has set, you can relax by the campfire, roast marshmallows, and take in the magnificent starry sky until it's time to head back down the mountain. Our Jeep tour provides a unique and unforgettable experience that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

What To Expect

Join us on a thrilling 4×4 Jeep tour through the Sierra’s, as we take you deep into the wilderness on an old logging road dating back to the 1800s. Our experienced tour guide will drive you to the top of Devils Peak, now called Signal Peak and stands at a towering 6,900 ft elevation, where you will witness a stunning sunset over the yosemite mountain ranges.

Admission Not Applicable

Signal Peak is home to one of the few lookout towers that are still manned by a ranger in California, whose job is to keep an eye out for fires. At the top of the mountain, you will have the opportunity to meet the ranger and explore the area while your guide sets up camp. Once the sun has set, you can relax by the campfire, roast marshmallows, and take in the magnificent starry sky until it’s time to head back down the mountain. Our Jeep tour provides a unique and unforgettable experience that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime. This tour is Seasonal and generally operates May 15th-Oct 1st.

Absolutely loved this experience which provided an incredible view of the Yosemite area from a fire lookout tower. Watching the sun set with panorama views was amazing. Our guide Elijah was awesome.

Arron was the best tour guide EVER!! May not have found us a sunset, not because of a huge effort, but we learned all about how to care for the forest, found pine cones, bark, learned about fires, saw bear cubs, ate Kind bars and best of all learned that turkeys are design by committee…. Arron, you are the awesome!!

We just returned from our Jeep tour to Devil's Peak with Chase and Brody. They arrived promptly at our hotel and took us to the most beautiful sunset ever! We enjoyed our visit with Big Boy, the incredibly sweet doggie! We watched the sunset, ate smores and gazed at so many stars. Thanks for a great evening and introduction to Yosmite!

Great time. We did the sunset at Devils Peak and it was beautiful. The view was amazing. Matt our diver was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back and do an atv tour on our next trip.

We had a great time on the Devils Peak Sunset tour. A private vehicle where our group of six could all ride together was perfect, and our guide, Matt, was sweet, funny, and got us to and from the destination safely. He also let us listen to our music on the ride up and back. The views at the top were incredible and we had just enough time to take photos, hang out, and enjoy some s'mores before heading back to our hotel in time for dinner. Convenient pickup location at the Tenaya Lodge too.
