  Today we did a private tour and we had a really great experience. I booked it the evening before, and he contacted me on WhatsApp right away to confirm everything and let me know he would pick me up directly at the hotel, which was very convenient!! The guide was kind and friendly from the beginning and explained many interesting things without ever being overwhelming or pushy. One thing we really appreciated was the flexibility with time: there was no rush at all, and we could take as much time as we wanted to enjoy each place, which is not something you always get. He was always polite, easygoing and professional, but at the same time very relaxed — not one of those guides who stay on top of you the whole time. A very positive experience. I would definitely recommend it 👍

  Ira, our tour guide for the trip to Didgori Monument and Mtskheta, was incredibly helpful and made the entire experience truly enjoyable. The ride was comfortable and pleasant, and throughout the journey he shared fascinating insights into Georgian history and culture. His knowledge and enthusiasm really added depth to the tour. On top of that, Ira gave us excellent recommendations for local food and wines, which made our stay even more memorable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

  Unfortunately, our tour group was unable to make the monument due to snow. Just be aware that during the winter this may be a likely possibility. That said, my buddy and I had a great time. Mindia, our tour guide, was fantastic. He made a valiant (and I mean valiant) effort to drive up the mountain to Didgori. However, when the snow got waist deep, he had to shovel the car out of the snow, and we had to turn around. As an alternative, we visited Mtsheka and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Overall, had a great time despite not making Didgori.

  The trip was amazing from the start. Our tour guide Ira was a wonderful companion to spend this time in beautiful mountain landscapes or Georgia. His knowledge of the historical landmarks were eye opening and really educative. Starting with the Jvari Monastery, with its amazing story and captivating view; ending with Didgori, a heroic victory against all odds; everything was better than imaginable.   I reserved the half - day tour of the Didgori Battle Memorial and Mtskheta. The tour itinerary is as follows: the first stop is the Jvari Monastery, followed by a visit to the Didgori Battle Memorial. My driver and tour guide, Alexandre, was truly outstanding. He did an excellent job of elaborating on the history of each place we visited. Moreover, he was kind enough to recommend the best photo spots where I could capture the magnificent views. However, on our way to the Didgori Battle Memorial, we encountered a challenge. Due to heavy snowfall, the road conditions were extremely poor and slippery. Alexandre tried his utmost to reach the destination, but we had to stop in front of a road completely blanketed with snow. Displaying great resourcefulness, Alexandre suggested taking me to the Svetitskhoveli Church in Mtskheta village as an alternative to the original itinerary. I was genuinely delighted with this solution and felt extremely grateful to him. His quick thinking and customer - oriented approach turned a potentially disappointing situation into an enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour agent to first - time visitors or solo travelers like myself. With a professional and considerate guide like Alexandre, you can rest assured that your journey will be filled with unforgettable memories, even when unexpected circumstances arise.
